External factor evaluation matrix (EFE matrix) External factor evaluation matrix is a tool to analyze the external environment. The way to do this is to find out the key factors that affect the future development of enterprises from two aspects: opportunity and threat, determine the weight according to the influence degree of each factor, then grade each key factor according to the effective response degree of enterprises to each key factor, and finally calculate the weighted total score of enterprises.
