Doumen District, Zhuhai City, located at the southwest end of the Pearl River Delta, is a famous hometown of overseas Chinese in China. After spending a noon in the ancient street, the team leader, a team member and students from another class visited the village Committee cadres to learn about the recent situation of the ancient street, and the rest continued to send questionnaires. However, due to dialect and accent problems, we can't get much information from village Committee cadres. One day later, we came to Doumen Town Cultural Square. In the interview with the stationmaster of the Cultural Station, we talked about the recent government construction plan of the ancient street, and got a lot of audio-visual and written materials of the ancient street, as well as a lot of suggestions for our research work. After coming out of Doumen Town Cultural Square, we visited the South Gate and some nearby places of interest for the rest of the time, and made some investigations to find the connection with the ancient street.
After going out for an investigation, we usually return to the life of dividing troops into two ways every morning, walking to school and logistics to buy food. Every morning in walking to school, I find that the alleys are quiet, the streets are clean and tidy, there is little littering anywhere, and there are few "psoriasis" and graffiti on the walls. At night, when we got home, we looked at every house brightly lit, warm and quiet. But we have a compulsory education in Bai Jiao Town Central Primary School, and we have a compulsory education activity for fifth-grade students called "Summer Camp". Courses mainly include interesting mathematics, the sound of music, film appreciation, exploring the unknown and happy sports. The dozens of villages we visited have different economic levels and educational conditions, and there are many factors that affect education. I hope that the relevant government policies can be put in place, not only the construction of teaching facilities, but also the rational deployment of educational talents to teach in southwest China. The government should re-examine the relevant policies and improve the conditions for students with financial difficulties to apply for state aid. Merging schools is also a "strong alliance" in teaching qualifications. To improve the quality of teaching, it is necessary to solve the problems of students' difficulty in going to school and poor accommodation conditions. Public security departments should seriously investigate and deal with those illegal "black Internet cafes". Students' ideas also need their consciousness and a good educational environment around them.
Ten days after visiting Wuxuan, our team is United, and the heat can't reduce our enthusiasm. Even though we are shuttling through the fields, we are still in high spirits, because the simple enthusiasm of the villagers makes us feel more cordial. In particular, Tanabata, which is more valued locally, lets us catch up and experience the unique customs of different places. In our spare time, we exchange information and ideas with each other. Because we are students at school, with little experience, we don't see the problem deeply. Many things only see the surface, but don't know the essence. Especially some subtle problems, we have to go through the instructions of teacher Jiang before we notice them. What we do may not have any direct impact on the local people. I hope that the problems reflected in our research report can get the attention of the government and all walks of life.
At the end of this activity, I also gained a lot of things that I can't learn in textbooks. Team spirit is the most important thing, but I learned to be considerate of others, meet people at different levels, and learn more about society and various social skills. At the same time, I also found that there are many shortcomings in my perspective and way of thinking about problems, which will inspire me to study harder in my future practical work, remind me in my study and life and improve myself.
