Fines for disturbing market prices
If an operator uses false or misleading plain code to commit price fraud, the competent pricing department of the government shall order it to make corrections, confiscate its illegal income and may impose a fine of less than five times its illegal income. If there is no illegal income, a warning shall be given and a fine of not less than 20,000 yuan but not more than 200,000 yuan may be imposed. If the circumstances are serious, it shall be ordered to suspend business for rectification, or its business license shall be revoked by the administrative department for industry and commerce.
Colluding with each other, manipulating market prices, harming the legitimate rights and interests of other operators or consumers, dumping at a price lower than the cost in order to crowd out competitors or monopolize the market, disrupting the normal production and operation order, and harming the national interests or the legitimate rights and interests of other operators.
Fabricating and spreading price increase information, driving up prices, driving commodity prices to rise too high, using false or misleading price means to trick consumers or other operators into trading with them and providing the same goods or services, and discriminating against other operators with the same trading conditions.
Buying and selling goods or providing services by means of raising or lowering prices, raising or lowering prices in disguised form, profiteering illegally, and other unfair price behaviors prohibited by laws and administrative regulations.
