second, preliminary preparation

I originally planned to quit the enterprise where I have worked for 11 years, and I also found a new job and prepared to submit my resignation application. However, after I finished the formaldehyde test at home that day, I was excited and felt that this industry might be a bit confusing. I told my wife my idea simply, and she also expressed her approval and support, so I embarked on the road of investigation with expectations.

After visiting these cities in a week, I got a general understanding of the industry. After this round of investigation, I gave up the idea of joining at first, because I didn't think this way was suitable for me. As for the reasons, I briefly summarize as follows:

First of all, the marketing models of these companies are basically the same, saying that they don't want to join the company, but they still need to pay at least 61,111 yuan in one lump sum, and then return it to the agent in the form of goods later, which is essentially the need to press the goods.

My idea is very simple, and the interlacing is like a mountain. Before I have a deep understanding of the industry, I think it is a bit risky to prepare so many goods at first, which is not suitable for a conservative like me. Of course, if the cost can be lower, I may consider it.

Secondly, personally, I think that joining is nothing more than relying on the fame of big companies, but at present, the industry has not formed a so-called brand company. Of course, it is undeniable that some big companies still have some influence in the local headquarters, but in other regions, customers do not buy it.

furthermore, as a startup, I don't want to spend too much money in a strange industry as soon as I start. First, I am poor, and second, it doesn't quite conform to my cautious personality.

Of course, the above is only my understanding of this way of entering the business based on my own situation, and I don't mean that this way is definitely not desirable. If you have friends with abundant funds, joining those companies is also a choice.

third, the exploratory stage

finally, I gave up the way of joining and decided to join the business myself. The reason why I dare to try independently is mainly because I have 11 years of work experience. Although I am not rich, I have seen a lot, and I have confidence in my self-study ability.

My thinking is still relatively clear, which is mainly divided into the following steps:

1. Understand and learn the relevant knowledge of the industry background, analyze the current situation of the industry, and draw my own conclusion-whether I can do this industry or not, which is very important. If I can't convince myself that I can do it after my own understanding and analysis, there is no need to continue. Even if you see that people in the industry have earned money, please believe that.

2. Learning related professional knowledge, without guidance, I really have to put some thought into it and briefly talk about how I learned it.

First of all, online video is a good choice. There are many such videos on the Internet, but after all, we can only see a scratch in this way. Secondly, during the last round of inspection, I asked to go to the construction sites of those companies for a simple observation (of course, not all companies will let me go), and I had the opportunity to add two managers' WeChat.

Thirdly, after I returned to Wuhan, I made a thorough investigation of my peers as a customer, claiming that my family wanted to be governed or pretending to be the head of logistics of a company, and asked to check the governance company project on the grounds that the company office wanted in addition to formaldehyde. 4. To register a company, I went to the agency directly. The cost is generally more than 1,111 yuan, and I will get the business license in about 11 working days. There is not much to say here.

5. Opening up the market is one of the difficulties of the project, and it is also a "system engineering". Here are a few personal understandings.

There is no "one-win" method, and all kinds of methods need to be tried boldly. Even if the subconscious feels that a certain method is not effective, the suggestion still needs to be tried with heart. Only after experience will we know.

in the early stage, I did activities in the community, swept the building, and talked about cooperation with some merchants in the upstream and downstream of the industry chain. In fact, basically every way can bring benefits, but it is only a matter of time.

At that time, I swept the building and posted small advertisements. I climbed 21 buildings in one day at most, and I was really tired. Different communities need to adopt different methods, some can stick stickers, some can only insert business cards, and some communities are forbidden to send small advertisements, which need to be considered in combination with the actual situation of the community.

① Don't spend money to become a member on some online platforms at the beginning. Personally, I feel that this kind of promotion on the network can only add icing on the cake, and it is difficult to attract customers before the company has a certain amount of exposure in the early stage. Moreover, platform promotion is also particular. Attention should be paid to distinguishing between light season and peak season. At the same time, different cities should adopt flexible methods.

②. As a novice, no matter whether you join the business or not, don't go to the whole store as soon as you start, which will only increase your pressure and promote the joining company, and will basically not bring you benefits. Why do you say this? Because although this project belongs to the service industry, it is very different from the traditional catering and clothing industries.

For catering and clothing, all the people passing by are potential buyers, but this project can't be copied, because their target customer groups are different, and the potential customer flow that stores can bring is quite limited. It is no exaggeration to say that once you open a store, it means that you are not far from failure.

③ At the initial stage, it is suggested to start with people around you. I believe that many peers get their first orders through friends or personal resources accumulated in the early stage. As a new entrant, it is difficult to win the trust of strangers, but if it is a friend relationship or a friend referral, the trust problem will be well solved, so you can work hard on acquaintances in the initial stage.

④ Cross-industry cooperation is a cost-effective method in the early stage, and it needs to focus on management. Running the market on your own legs is too narrow.
