Master Hou Ruixuan, although his skills are refined, but he is open-minded, never proud of his skills, especially every year to take advantage of the vacation time to go to his hometown of Changguan to teach the art. He taught the number of famous Changyuan chefs up to hundreds of people. Lv Dahai, the general counselor of Beijing Henan Mansion, Tian Zhengbin, the former head chef of Beijing Hotel, and Li Zhishun, the chairman of Zhengzhou Yishunxuan Catering Company Limited, are all his apprentices. After his retirement, Master Hou Ruixuan was invited to lecture all over the country, teaching his skills in Zhengzhou, Xi'an, Taiyuan, Guangzhou, and Wuhan, and receiving wide acclaim.
In 1993, the central government organized a 72-year-old birthday banquet for him, Tian Jiyun, then Vice Premier of the State Council, wrote an inscription of "culinary excellence"; in 1999, the Henan Provincial Culinary Association held a "Hou Ruixuan from the art of 60 years of cooking skills seminar in Zhengzhou ", for him to issue a "Yu Cuisine Titan" plaque, at the same time set up a "Hou Ruixuan Culinary Incentive Fund"; in 2000, at the age of 80 years old, he was approved to retire, but still by the Diaoyutai State Guesthouse was hired as a lifelong consultant. Hou Ruixuan master's ordinary life, made an extraordinary career.
