Our city conscientiously implements the spirit of legal documents such as People's Republic of China (PRC) Cleaner Production Promotion Law and Notice of the Ministry of Environmental Protection on Further Strengthening Cleaner Production Audit of Key Enterprises. In 2005, the municipal government promulgated and implemented the Implementation Measures for Promoting Cleaner Production in Chengdu. In the process of promoting the cleaner production audit of key enterprises, the concept of cleaner production runs through the whole production process of key polluting enterprises with the principle of "energy saving, emission reduction, consumption reduction and efficiency improvement". 20 10 after the release of document No.54 of the Ministry of Environmental Protection on further promoting cleaner production of key enterprises, the Municipal Environmental Protection Bureau, according to the requirements of the Ministry of Environmental Protection, took five key industries for heavy metal pollution prevention and control, seven industries with overcapacity and other key industries specified in the List as the focus of cleaner production work of key enterprises, investigated these industries, formulated work plans, and promoted cleaner production audits in batches according to national requirements.
