Dehua Building, an old name of Wuhan catering industry, was founded in 1924. Dehua Shuimo Rice Cake, Dehua Xiaobao and Dehua Northern Dumplings, the traditional famous snacks, have been awarded famous Chinese snacks by the state, which are well-known in three towns of Wuhan and are favored by people. Wuhan time-honored Dehua rice cake is better than Jiangsu and Zhejiang brands Sanquan, Missing and Wufangzhai. In 1924, Tianjin native Li Huanting founded Dehua Building in Hankou, which is the predecessor of Dehua Building.
Dehua Shuimo Rice Cake is one of the traditional products of Dehua Building. Every winter, Wuhan people queue up in front of Dehua Building to buy rice cakes, which is a street view in Jiangcheng.
