On the road of serving the society, Mr. Wu Zhubang has gone further and further. At present, he is the permanent chairman of the Shunde Friendship Association of Macao, the supervisor of the Red Cross Society of Macao Special Administrative Region, the director of the Macao Construction and Real Estate Association, the supervisor of the Macao Manufacturers' Federation, and the director of the readers' public welfare fund of Macao Daily. He organically integrates career and service, and personal social responsibility and career development complement each other. In the impetuous and noisy reality, he seems simple and calm.
Mr. Wu Zhubang, whose ancestral home is Shunde, inherited the spirit of "being the first in the world" of Shunde people and created a world of his own in Macao. He is now the chairman of Dabangfa Construction Development Co., Ltd., so it can be said that his solid career foundation is precisely his strong support for serving the society. After a successful career, the dedication is more practical, which makes people feel happy and satisfied with serving the society.
However, Mr. Wu Zhubang's career path is not smooth sailing, but depends on his own efforts. At that time, he left his hometown in Shunde for Macau, only a teenager, in a daze. It is difficult for him to create his own future and realize his ideal through his own efforts! In fact, he left his hometown Shunde in his teens and came to Macao to work hard. During this period, he encountered all kinds of hardships, but when he thought that he was a "Shunde person" who dared to break through, he could survive no matter how hard he was.
Gradually, Mr. Wu Zhubang grew up in Macao, especially after returning to Macao from Hong Kong, he began to seek development plans and continue his construction work. He works in a construction company during the day, studying engineering planning and site management; In the evening, I study cultural knowledge and architectural design, and I am determined to make a career in the construction industry. In this way, he worked while studying, learned from practice, and accumulated a lot of work experience and venture capital.
After more than ten years' efforts, Mr. Wu Zhubang's design and drawing level has reached the level of local professional architects. Moreover, the conditions for starting a business in all aspects are ripe, so in 1978, he established Dabangfa Construction and Development Co., Ltd. At the beginning of the company's establishment, Dabangfa Construction and Development Co., Ltd. was just a little-known company, but it was from this small construction company that he worked hard, adhered to honesty and strived to expand the company's scale. He also gradually grew from a construction mechanic to a famous contractor in Macao and became the chairman of Dabangfa Construction and Development Co., Ltd., a large-scale and prestigious company in Macao.
During this period, Mr. Wu Zhubang built the Jing 'ao Hotel in Macao, and the top floor was the revolving restaurant of San Diego Hotel pioneered by Macao, which set a milestone for Macao's construction industry. He has made great contributions to the construction of the inner harbor wharf in Macao, and has undertaken most of the total engineering quantity of the inner harbor wharf. Many large-scale projects are fresh in his memory.
Perhaps it is because of hard work that Mr. Wu Zhubang can seize the opportunity and develop the company through persistence. Now, although he has gradually faded out of his architectural career, he is undoubtedly successful. Although his road to struggle has gone through hardships, he has propped up his own career world.
Serve the society, not seek fame and fortune.
Mr. Wu Zhubang is over 70 years old now, but he is still full of energy. He said that he hasn't done any engineering projects for many years and is gradually preparing to retire from his career, but in fact he is still engaged in another career, that is, serving the society. From architecture to social service, he pursues spiritual prosperity in serving the society, spends most of his time in social service and tries his best to give back to the society.
Mr. Wu Zhubang has always had a strong homesickness in his heart, hoping to do something for his hometown. This emotion prompted him to travel frequently between Macau and Shunde. As the permanent chairman of the Shunde Friendship Association in Macau, he hopes to understand the development of his hometown and do what he can for it. It can be said that although he lives in Haojiang, he has always been concerned about his hometown.
In fact, the development of his hometown has always touched his heart. From his words, everyone can feel that he "takes it from the society and uses it for the society" and gives back to the simple heart of Sang Zi. He did it. As long as it helps the society and hometown, he will not be stingy with time and money.
From 1988, Mr. Wu Zhubang became the president of Shunde Friendship Association in Macau. Every year, Macao folks are organized to return to their hometowns to participate in various activities. In order to develop the Shun Lian Conference in Macau, he initiated and took the lead in donating money to buy a new venue. In order to pass it on from generation to generation, he supported the organization of the Youth Committee of Shun Lian in Macao. In order to support the social welfare undertakings in my hometown, in the early 1980s, I donated money to build a cement road in my hometown. Since then, he has made many donations to support his hometown, build roads and bridges, and generously donated daliang town Youth Science Building and Foshan School for the Deaf. In 2000, the Wu Ancestral Hall in Nanxiong Zhuji Lane and Zuotan Cultural Center in Zuotan Village were established. Starting from 1996, we initiated and led our colleagues from Shunlian, Macao to go back to their hometown once a year to celebrate the Nurses' Day, and also set up a Ganzhutan Chili sauce factory in Longjiang to support the economic construction of their hometown.
At the same time, Mr. Wu Zhubang also actively participated in various social welfare activities. He served as two presidents of the Rotary Club of Haojiang, Macao, and concurrently served as the representative of Rotary International in Macao. He is the director of the emergency rescue department of Macao Daily Reader Charity Foundation, and always pays attention to the social vulnerable groups. For the poor people with family difficulties, after learning the news, he and his colleagues will visit them at the first time and give them appropriate relief funds. During his tenure, he also helped some cataract and glaucoma patients to see the light again on behalf of the Macao Readers Foundation. Sometimes an operation costs thousands or even tens of thousands of yuan, but they all give generously to help patients.
For Mr. Wu Zhubang, helping the vulnerable groups, such as cataract and glaucoma patients, can reduce the burden on the family on the one hand. After the patient is cured, the family no longer needs to spend too much energy to take care of him, and can have time to work and earn money to subsidize the family and reduce the burden on the family. On the other hand, being able to help patients, as a participant, Mr. Wu Zhubang will feel happy for patients in his heart, and helping others will make him very happy and satisfied.
It is worth mentioning that Mr. Wu Zhubang has served as a member of the China People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) for three consecutive sessions, participated in the discussion of state affairs, and paid attention to people's livelihood, social conditions and public opinion, and traffic problems, and won wide praise and respect from people.
