Whether an EIA is needed and whether it is a report or a report form is based on what is stipulated in the State Ministry of Environmental Protection's "Classified Management List of Environmental Impact Assessment for Construction Projects".

According to the new "Classified Management List for Environmental Impact Assessment of Construction Projects", which was implemented on June 1, 2015, catering establishments with six or more baseline stoves involving environmentally sensitive areas are required to prepare an EIA report form. The rest only need to fill out the registration form on the line, the registration form, that is, no EIA, directly fill out the form.

It is the number of benchmark stoves that counts, not the size of the food establishment.
