First of all, my opinion is that it is not reasonable to ban the use of ice cubes in drink shops. The reasons are as follows:
First, ice is not the only factor that causes diarrhea. There are many reasons for diarrhea, including problems in water source and food hygiene. If we just ban the use of ice cubes blindly, we may ignore other possible health problems, thus failing to achieve the real effect of solving the problems.
second, banning the use of ice cubes is not conducive to the dining experience of consumers. In hot summer, customers in drink shops will choose to drink iced drinks to relieve the heat. If the use of ice cubes is prohibited, the dining experience of consumers will definitely be affected, which will also have a negative impact on the operation of beverage shops.
thirdly, banning the use of ice cubes cannot fundamentally solve the problem. Instead of blindly controlling a certain detail, it is better to control health and safety issues from the source. The government should strengthen the supervision of the catering industry, crack down on those businesses that violate the rules, and at the same time increase publicity to raise public health awareness.
Based on the above point of view, I think the best way to solve this problem is to start from two aspects: policies and regulations and public education.
first of all, the government should introduce stricter regulations and policies to strengthen the supervision of the catering industry. For example, catering enterprises can be required to use ice cubes that meet hygiene standards and conduct regular inspections. Businesses that violate regulations such as indiscriminate use of ice cubes or unqualified water quality should be rectified or shut down immediately.
Secondly, public education is also very important. The government can publicize the correct knowledge of food hygiene to the public through various channels, and remind consumers to choose shops with guaranteed hygiene and safety when choosing restaurants. At the same time, catering enterprises should also improve their own health awareness, strengthen staff training and improve service quality.
In a word, it is not a reasonable practice to ban the use of ice cubes in beverage shops. We should control health and safety issues from the source, strengthen supervision and raise public health awareness. Only in this way can we truly protect people's health and effectively solve the health and safety problems existing in the catering industry.
