2009 Ivy House International Summer Camp Shanghai

The Ivy House International Summer Camp Shanghai will be held in Hongqiao, one of the most cosmopolitan areas of Shanghai. The Ivy House camps in Shanghai have been carefully organized to provide a beautiful and unforgettable summer with excellent facilities and an international environment for the students.

Camp Introduction

Our camp is located in the Hongqiao area of Shanghai. This has long been the preferred Shanghai residence for expatriates. The camp is located at the Hi+ Training Center on Hongquan Road, a Korean-funded learning and training school for young children that has been in operation since 2003. The school has a number of excellent teachers, including more than 10 foreign teachers, who have a wealth of experience in teaching and in organizing and managing children's activities, and holds a variety of children's learning and training sessions and events every year. Prior to the opening of the camp, the camp will be tested to reasonably allocate students of different levels and age groups in different classes, and strictly control the English classes with no more than 10 students in each class, and no more than 30 students led by every two teachers (Chinese and foreign teachers) during the activity trips.

Our Characteristics

The Iowa House English International Summer Camp Shanghai takes advantage of our overseas partner's 12 years of experience in setting up international summer camps, as well as the unique resources of Shanghai and our school, to create a fully internationalized English summer camp. We not only provide foreign teachers to teach English classes, organize all kinds of activities and tours accompanied by English explanations of the attractions, but also arrange for international friendly families including European, American, Japanese, and Korean families to provide accommodation for the students, and even arrange for European, American, Japanese, and Korean students to participate in all kinds of activities and tours of various attractions with us. We are the first and only domestic summer camp in Shanghai and the whole country that is truly internationalized.

English Class (English Class)

Here, the camp will provide students with "Cambridge International Spoken English" training, so that they can learn to use English more confidently. In addition to learning English, students will become familiar with British teaching methods and, more importantly, gain a deeper understanding of the advanced "discussion-based" personalized teaching rather than "indoctrination-based" learning methods in the West.
