Dune platform
Dune terrace site
In the south of Dapingtai Village, Guangzong County, Xingtai City, there is a sand dune with a length of one hundred and fifty meters and a width of 70 meters. According to historical records, this is the site of the famous sand dune palace. Now it is a provincial key cultural relics protection unit. ?
Guangzong County Records said: Guangzong has a flat terrain, sandy soil everywhere, and hilly terrain, hence the name Dune. Dune Palace was named after it.
According to historical records, this seemingly insignificant land is the famous "Dragon Trapped Land" in the history of China.
During the Shang and Zhou Dynasties, this place belonged to Xing State, and Zu Ti moved its capital to Xing State. Shang Zhouwang built a lot of buildings on the sand dunes in Xingguo, built more terraces, set up wine ponds and meat forests, chased games naked by men and women, and sang and drank all night. Xing Hou was punished for his loyalty.
In the Western Zhou Dynasty, sand dunes belonged to Xing State and Xing Desert belonged to Wei. Because of the divination cemetery, Wei Linggong was buried in the sand dunes.
Behind the sand dunes is the territory of Zhao State. Wang Chuan of Zhao Wuling, a talented and well-dressed rider, is located behind his youngest son Zhao Haoqi Huiwen and lives in the sand dune palace. His eldest son, childe Zhang, competed with King Huiwen for the throne. He launched an uprising, was defeated, and fled to the dune palace where Zhao Zhu's father lived. King Huiwen sent Gongzi Cheng and Li Dui to surround the Dune Palace, killed Gongzi Zhang and starved Wuling to death in the Dune Palace.
In 2 10 BC, Qin Shihuang made his fifth patrol and fell ill in the plain. In July, Bing Yin went to the dunes and died on the platform of Dune Palace. His youngest son, Hu Hai, colluded with Prime Minister Reese and eunuch Zhao Gao, falsely claiming that Hu Hai was made a prince by the first emperor, and his eldest son, Fu Su, who was really made a prince by the first emperor committed suicide.
Since the Qin and Han Dynasties, the site of Dune Palace has become a scenic spot. The literati came here to visit the ancient times and explore the secluded places, leaving many poems. During the Kangxi period of Qing Dynasty, a seven-tone "Dune Palace Nostalgia" written by Wu in Guangzong County was one of the representatives. Poetry cloud:
When you are free, you can count the spring and autumn and see all the vicissitudes.
The soldiers fought hundreds of battles, but stopped at the disintegration film.
Zulong hated cars, but his father was worried about the palace.
There was only hazy yellow sand last month, and you are still shining on the barren hills!
