China Xinhua Airlines was formally established in August, 1992. Headquartered in Beijing, its operating bases are located at Capital International Airport and Tianjin Binhai International Airport respectively, mainly engaged in domestic air passenger and cargo transportation. At present, there are 16 Boeing series aircraft (including 13 B737/300/400/800 and 3 B767/300); More than 80 flights have been opened from Beijing and Tianjin to more than 50 cities across the country.

Since joining HNA Group in 2002, Xinhua Airlines has fully introduced HNA's advanced corporate culture and service concept, always adhered to the market orientation, and constantly developed new air transport service products. During the year, corporate customer service, Lu Jinjin card service, frequent flyer service, ground guidance service, 24-hour free telephone consultation and reservation service, flight reservation reminder service, special catering service on the reservation plane, telephone reservation service on the return flight, air ticket auction and lottery entertainment activities were successively launched. The service quality and corporate image of New China Airlines have been significantly improved. In the 20001-2002 national "Civil Aviation for Passengers" evaluation, New China Airlines won the fifth overall score and the second group. In June, 20001year, the flight crew of Ge Xiang Company was awarded the first batch of "National Outstanding Youth Civilization" jointly by the Central Committee of the Communist Youth League and various ministries and commissions of the country. In February 2002, it was awarded the "Golden Goose Cup" by the Civil Aviation Administration of China for air transport safety, and won the first place in the punctuality rate evaluation of the Capital Airport in 2003.
