Establishing and improving the anti-food waste work mechanism, organizing the monitoring, investigation, analysis and evaluation of food waste, strengthening supervision and management, and promoting anti-food waste work. Local people's governments at or above the county level shall annually publicize the situation of anti-food waste to the society, put forward measures to strengthen anti-food waste, and continuously promote anti-food waste in the whole society.

National efforts to economize

The market supervision and administration department under the State Council shall strengthen the supervision of food production and operators' anti-food waste situation, and urge food production and operators to implement anti-food waste measures. State grain and material reserve departments shall strengthen the grain storage and circulation process of grain saving and loss reduction management, in conjunction with the relevant departments of the State Council to organize the implementation of grain storage, transportation, processing standards.
