Yi Fajiu started his business in Zhuhai in 1991.

The company's real estate project investment scale once amounted to more than 90 million yuan, and then the company declared bankruptcy in the "real estate bubble tide".

By the end of 1995, Yi came to Shanghai alone to start another venture, the Influence Training organization.

The satisfaction rate of the students of Efajiu's courses has exceeded 97% for three consecutive years, including 99.37% in 2003, which is a miracle in the training industry.

Author: "There must be a way to success", "not impossible" Yi Fajiu: with their own experience written in the success of the method of the first failure: planted in the 90 million yuan on the real estate project In 1989, Yi Fajiu graduated from the University, the first stayed in the school as a teacher for one year, and then did a dozen kinds of occupation: management of farms, rural areas, when the small craftsmen to open a restaurant, to be a line worker. The company's main goal is to provide the best possible service to its customers.

After all that, a chance encounter led him to work for the government of Zhuhai's western district.

At that time, his job duties were still very important because his department was responsible for all the investment promotion work in the Western District Development Zone, and many people had to come to him every day to get approvals.

Then it was 1991, just the fastest time of development in the region, Yi Fajiu see a lot of people because of their approvals and become millionaires, the heart also began to itch up, and thought when they can also be like them.

I didn't expect the opportunity to come.

Because the development zone to encourage all cadres to use their resources to attract investment, YiFaJiu also took the opportunity to go to sea.

Then the government gave him a piece of land, and he found several investors: one from Hong Kong, one from Hunan, one from the district, plus himself as the smallest investor, ready to build a 23-story building on the land.

According to the operating share ratio at the time, the total investment in the project was 90 million yuan, and after the completion of the project, Yifajiu's company was able to get 10 to 20 million yuan, and it only took two to three years at most to realize this goal.

In the face of the success within reach, Yi Fajiu was complacent.

However, in 1993, the state carried out macro-control, the mainland funds began to freeze; in 1994, the foreign funds could not come in, the project was hit by a big impact; by the end of 1994, the entire project due to the lack of funds has been difficult to carry out.

The project, in which more than 20 million yuan was invested in the first phase, came to a halt, and only two floors of the 23-storey project had been built.

Then the bank and all its creditors began to pursue the debt, and Yi FaJiu had to sell his property to pay off the debt.

The change was a big blow to Yi Fajiu, who could have earned 10 to 20 million dollars from the project, but not only did he not get a penny, but owed a lot of money to the bank and friends.

By the end of 1995, he felt that the situation could not continue.

Based on the situation at that time, he judged that the situation in Zhuhai would not recover soon, and the only way for him to make a comeback was to leave Zhuhai temporarily.

At that time, he had four places in mind to choose from: first, Beijing; second, Guangzhou; third, Shenzhen; and fourth, Shanghai.

The first three places he was in a good position to go to, but in the end he chose the unfamiliar Shanghai.

Because he felt that Shanghai was a place where business operated in a more standardized way, a place where he could go to make plans and work his way through his primitive accumulation.

Combined with the fact that the development of Pudong had just begun, he believed that he would be able to create a new world by virtue of his own ability, and so Yi Fajiu, who was carrying 3,000 yuan of borrowed money, went to Shanghai.

At this point, a great test and challenge lay before him, because Shanghai is an unknown quantity for Yi Fajiu, and he needs to start all over again.

The second failure: the dream of becoming an investor from a wage earner was shattered When he first arrived in a strange place, he was penniless, and it was not easy for him to fight the world.

In order to be able to pay off the money owed as soon as possible, Yifa Jiujiu determined not to rely on a wage to live.

Because even if the paycheck is more than enough to pay off the debt, he has no choice but to start the business again.

Restarting a new business requires investment, but when YiFaJiu has no money.

What to do? Come to think of it, he felt that he could only choose to start from the intellectual investment in the project.

Well, in Zhuhai as a special economic zone, there are a lot of new planning concepts, Yi Fajiu has a lot of inculcation, he thinks this may be a breakthrough in their own business.

At first, he found a company that sells discount coupon cards, and proposed that he would not invest in them, relying only on his own marketing methods to operate them and ask for 25% of the intellectual shares.

The owner of the company agreed to his terms, considering that there was no risk in doing so.

From then on, Yifajiu put his heart and soul into his work, and to that end he developed a number of ways to boost sales.

With no luck, he sold 300 cards in less than two months.

Later he realized that the company had been operating for seven or eight months and hadn't sold that many.

This was his first achievement with the company.

In order to expand his business, Yifajiu also recruited some business people at the time.

He used his evening time to train the businessmen, and the total **** gave them 12 lessons, introducing them to the advanced methods he had learned in Zhuhai, which was the first time he started giving lessons to others.

In fact, Yifajiu's initial contact with success training was in Zhuhai, when he just found this aspect of knowledge very useful, but never thought of it as his career.

Once the 12 training sessions were over, the business people generally reflected that the course was very practical for them, and they all hoped to follow Yi Fajiu to work together.

So Yi Fajiu proposed a joint venture, and in the end they raised a total of **** 60,000 dollars.

With the 60,000 yuan, and with those hundreds of cards to pad the bottom, there was a basis for a second operation for a small company, so they did a series of remodeling, ready to go big.

Yi Fajiu still vividly remembers the day when all the fundraising money was collected, and the owner of that company took him in for a talk.

At first, the boss stammered and talked about something irrelevant, but it was not until later that he got to the heart of the matter, saying to Yi, "Can we not talk about shares, but I'm asking you to be the general manager?" Yi Fajiu was very surprised to hear this, so he asked, "How much are you going to pay me a month's salary if you ask me to be the general manager?" The other party replied, "How much money did you say you wanted?" Yi Fajiu said, "One thing I'm sure of is that you certainly can't afford to support me, because I already owe a lot of money, and the salary you're paying can't be high enough for me to pay off my debts.

"So Yifajiu said he had to become an investor in a business, and only then could he go on to make more money to pay off his debts.

In order to convince the other side, Yi Fajiu also showed his value to the other side, saying: "General manager, if the company doesn't have me, probably you can only earn up to 500,000 yuan; if this company has me you can earn up to 5 million yuan.

While you gave me 25 percent, you still have 75 percent; and while 75 percent is not as big as 100 percent, 75 percent of $5 million is more than $500,000.

"Everyone understands the reasoning, but the company's general manager did not listen, so the cooperation had to end.

The third failure: the media business plan aborted Soon after the failure of the first venture to Shanghai, Yi Fajiu quickly found another partner - a newspaper stationed in Shanghai reporter.

This partnership was also made possible by a group of people that Yi Fajiu initially met after coming to Shanghai.

Yi Fajiu, who was new to the city at the time, paid 50 yuan to place an advertisement for a friend in the All Things Considered section of the newspaper to make friends with a group of people, including this partner.

The man had some working relationship with the newspaper, so Yi Fajiu and he were planning together to produce a ****same program, which is to buy a page in this newspaper and set up a real estate special issue.

In the beginning, they aimed to do real estate business, because at that time Shanghai's real estate is still in the budding state of just starting, coupled with YiFaJiu was originally engaged in real estate, so it is very easy to integrate into this line.

Because it wasn't enough to just do business, they added a membership component, and the new program was up and running.

The form of cooperation this time is basically the same as the first time, with the other party not needing to invest too much money, and Efaju running the business on its own terms and taking a 25 percent stake in the business.

This is Yifajiu's second attempt to start a business from scratch in Shanghai.

Unexpectedly, history began to repeat itself when Yi led a group that just pulled in 80,000 yuan in advertising, so the partnership had to come to an end.

The fourth failure: the enterprise training program did not carry out to Shanghai after the first two ventures have ended in failure, the salary did not get much, more did not share what shares, when even the basic survival has become a problem, YiFaJiu y appreciate "poor" is a kind of what it is like.

Remember once, he took a bus from a place back to the residence, in the middle of the bus must be reversed.

At that time, a bus ticket in Shanghai cost 50 cents a piece, and after getting on the bus, Yi Fajiu realized that he only had 50 cents left on him, so he had to take a bus and walk for more than two hours before returning home.

And the memory of the move lingers in his mind as well.

In the nearly two years from 1996 to 1997, Yi Fajiu changed 11 places in Shanghai***.

People usually move better and better, but each time he tried to find a cheaper or even less expensive place.

In the most difficult days, he could only rely on instant noodles and vegetable buns to fill his stomach three times a day, so the embarrassment of life is evident.

In order to make ends meet, Yi had to go to a training center to apply for a job as a part-time lecturer at night.

When the two sides met, he took out his previous 12 courses for business people to show the other side, the other side let him try to speak once, and felt good, so they gave him a course.

At that time, it was 30 yuan per hour, three hours a night, so he could get 90 yuan every night, and life was basically not a problem.

Despite the fact that Yifajiu wasn't making much money at the time, he saved a little bit of it and then used it to go out and listen to some higher-level courses.

Remember once he went to listen to a Taiwan lecturer's course, when the Taiwanese earned 5,000 yuan after only half a day's lecture.

This surprised Yi Fajiu, who was able to get so much money for a half-day class, and thought he could get 2,000 yuan even for one day.

Later, he actually told this idea to the boss of the training center, who sized him up and told him, "You want to get 2,000 yuan in one day, that's impossible, never.

You know that our principal here only gets 2,000 yuan in January.

" Yifajiu felt that with this boss's way of thinking, he would not be able to do much more at this training center.

So he soon left the training center.

In this way, Yi Fajiu suffered his third and final business failure in Shanghai.

Fifth venture a success The month after he left the training center, an insurance company asked Yi to give a lecture for a fee of 2,000 yuan.

It turns out that a few months ago, Yi Fajiu often go to the job market, he is not to apply for a job but to take the opportunity to go to the personnel department of the company to sell their own corporate training courses.

There, he gave an insurance company's personnel director surnamed Xu left a deep impression, and took down his contact information.

He didn't expect the director to call him six months later and ask him to come to the company for an interview.

After the meeting, Mr. Xu told Mr. Yi that he wanted to invite a lecturer from Hong Kong to give a lecture, but he suddenly had something to do and couldn't come, so he asked Mr. Yi to come to help him save the day.

Because he was worried that he would not be able to deliver a good speech, Mr. Xu warned him that he could only succeed and not fail.

Yi Fajiu carefully prepared for the lesson.

On the day of the lesson, Yi Fajiu played quite brilliantly, and as soon as the lesson was over, Director Xu went up to him and shook his hand, saying, "Good! Not bad!" Because the effect of his course ended up exceeding the other side's expectations, the company ended up paying him 2,500 yuan as a reward.

This was a major turnaround, because from then on his fees began to be measured in thousands of dollars.

What the training center thought was impossible, Yi-Fa-Jiu achieved the next month after he left.

More importantly, the lecture set him on the path to becoming a freelance lecturer.

When he told his friends about his decision to become a freelance lecturer and his plan to become a millionaire within three years, he was met with cynicism.

To expand his clientele, for a while, Yifajiu had to pack two phones in a public phone booth every morning -- one just to make calls and one to wait for a callback.

Sometimes he would make as many as 100 calls a day, selling his training courses to companies.

In the afternoons, he picks a few office buildings to "sweep," or go door-to-door to sell his courses.

Through this method, he also gained a lot of money, and more than 10 companies asked him to give lectures.

In 1998, he began using an office lent to him by a friend and took three people with him to run the entity, making $100,000 in just eight months before and after.

He also used the money to return some of the money he owed in Zhuhai during the New Year.

And his business thus began to go from strength to strength, and he became a contracted instructor for 11 training companies and training centers, all of which were promoting his courses at the same time.

By 1999, he had formalized his own company, which he named Tonji Enterprise Management Consulting.

As he taught, he also continued to go out and study, so his classes got better and better.

The company also grew very quickly.

In 2000, Yi's company was named one of China's top 10 consulting and training organizations by a well-known training website.

It took only four years for Fajiu's own lecture fees to rise from 30 yuan an hour to 10,000 yuan an hour.

Yi Fa-jiu himself in revealing the secret of his success, told reporters this way: at first in Zhuhai, encountered the same situation as his friends as many, some people are complaining, some waiting.

And the reason why he was able to take this step, the word "positive" played a big role.

Yi Fajiu said: "Behind the word 'positive' includes positive thinking, positive preparation, positive search for methods, positive action, the whole process is positive.

The more I study the science of success, the more I realize that the essence of success is a philosophical category, it is a mode of thinking and a mode of life.

No matter how you define success, there is always something of value to society in being positive.

Positivity does not necessarily lead to success, but negativity is a sure way to fail.
