Method 1: Take the bus.
1. Go to Allanet Thagoon Bus Station in Kubao, Quezon City. There are several bus lines in this bus station, all of which are bound for Gatta. Quezon City is about 10 km from Manila.
Allanet Tagong Bus Station in Kubao is a big station. Manila and several other major cities in the Philippines can be easily reached by train.
Decide which bus to take. There are many buses going to Gately. Look for a bus with the sign "Nasugbu-Tagaytay". The two bus routes to Gattei are El John and Ahlmark and San Augustine.
The bus to Gatta runs every 30 minutes. The departure time will be affected by the weather, and sometimes it will not be completely according to the timetable. Once the seats are full, they will leave early.
3. Pay the driver. Pay the driver in pesos, and the fare is about 120 pesos, which is about 15 yuan RMB. You can consult the bus service department in advance for the specific fare.
4. Go to olivarez Square by bus. Because there is no station in Tagatai, it will stop at olivarez Square. There is a taxi next to the square, which can take you anywhere.
Method 2: Rent a car
1, go to the airport If you want to go to Gattei, you can rent a car in many places in Manila. However, most private cars going to Tagatai are gathered near the airport, which is the most convenient place to start.
2. Rent a private car or take a FX taxi. Taxis at the airport are all at the prescribed freight rate, so they will be more expensive than others. It is cheaper to rent a private car or FX taxi (a van similar to a taxi) outside the airport.
3. Pay the driver. You can rent a car for 35 dollars. If it is higher than this price, you can bargain with the driver. You can get to Gattei Tower for 35 dollars, and sometimes you can hire a driver all day. It is not uncommon for drivers to ask you to pay for gas. But generally it will not exceed 1000 pesos.
Method 3: Drive by yourself.
1. Drive into expressway (SLE) in South Luzon. The quickest way to drive from Manila to Gattei is to take expressway in southern Luzon, which used to be south expressway. There are usually fewer vehicles from Manila to expressway in South Luzon.
2. Leave expressway, South Luzon at santa rosa Exit. You need to stop and pay the toll. The toll of ordinary cars or jeeps should be less than 60 pesos, and the big cars will be higher.
3. Drive to Gatta Market. After paying the fee, turn right, and then drive along this road to the Ta Gattei market. This market is the entrance to Tagatai. It takes about 20 minutes to get here from santa rosa exit.
Method 4: Visit the town
1. Visit the Gatta. When you arrive at Catata, you must first choose the way of sightseeing. There are two main ways to visit Taggart: renting a jeep. Like many other Philippine towns, the most common means of transportation in Tagatai is a colorful jeep called Jeepney. Tell the driver where you want to go and ask the price.
Rent a tricycle. This tricycle is a rickshaw suitable for short trips. You can only find it in the small street of Gattei.
2. Taste delicious food. There are many kinds of restaurants in Jiatai. From gourmet restaurants to various street snacks. Gattei's specialty is a bowl of hot beef leg soup. This kind of soup is very popular in this area.
Go to Carinthia or Turotouro, which is a very popular and affordable local restaurant. Large pots or plates are filled with all kinds of food, and the way to eat them is similar to that of a cafeteria.
Jiatai also has various traditional restaurants, where you can sit down and taste various ethnic foods. If you want to eat hamburgers, Chinese food and other delicious food, you can find them here.
3. Check the website. You can experience many interesting things in Tagatai. You'd better consult the guidebook before you leave. The following are some popular attractions: Dayatai Nutrition and Health Country Hotel is a very popular spa. But also provides meals and accommodation.
Air Amusement Park is an amusement park with complete amusement facilities, especially the giant Ferris wheel called "Eye of the Sky".
If you like outdoor activities, Jiatai has many interesting attractions, such as picnic Woods and Sonia Garden. You can also go hiking in Taillard volcano.
4. Accommodation. If you plan to spend the night in Gattei, there are many options according to the budget. There are several luxury hotels in Jiatai. This is the most expensive option, it costs about 3000 pesos, maybe more.
There are some cheap private hotels called "nursing homes", which are similar to cheap hotels. These hotels are nothing special except private rooms and bathrooms.
If you don't want to spend too much on accommodation or group travel, you can choose a dormitory hotel or a private hotel with a public toilet, which may be the cheapest choice, and you will meet many other tourists when you live here.
Tip: If you take the bus, try to avoid the morning and evening rush hours, so that there will be seats available.
If you drive there, you can choose other routes to Gattei. You can take the coastal highway that runs through Yi Musi, mariner and Xilangjiami. There are more cars on this route, so it will take more time, but the scenery is beautiful.
Hotels and cabins are much cheaper than Gattei's hotels. Cheap hotels are also an ideal choice.
