Ocean and astronomy

Venue: the third floor of the museum.

Do you have any questions about coming to the ocean and astronomy exhibition hall? Why set up an astronomical exhibition hall in the Ocean Museum? What is the relationship between the ocean and astronomy? Astronomy is closely related to the ocean. Even the water that makes up the ocean probably comes from comets in the sky. At first, we explored the stars because of the need of navigation. With the deepening of our understanding of astronomy, we find that many phenomena in the earth's oceans are closely related to astronomy, affecting the oceans and our daily lives. Later, human beings were no longer willing to study the stars on the ground, but explored the universe, from which a satellite navigation system was derived and applied to navigation and daily travel. So astronomy and navigation have been inseparable since ancient times.
