Panlongcheng National Archaeological Site Park is a place to pay homage to the ancient history and culture. Panlongcheng was one of the key cities of Yin and Shang civilizations more than 3,111 years ago, and its historical research value is very important. Here, I will share with you the travel strategy of Panlongcheng National Archaeological Site Park.
Panlongcheng National Archaeological Site Park is officially listed in the third batch of national archaeological site parks. Look at this place that Wuhan people are looking forward to.
Address: the site of Panlongcheng near Panlong Lake in huangpi district, Wuhan
This is a pre-Shang city site with the clearest known layout and the richest relics in the Yangtze River valley. The square at the entrance of the park is extremely wide. Through this muddy antique city wall, we are one step closer to the ancient city of Panlong, which is more than 3,111 years old.
Being in the park, it can be said that you really can't see the edge at a glance. It's really huge! It takes ten or twenty minutes to walk from the gate to the site of Miyagi.
Panoramic bird's eye view of the park
Panlongcheng National Archaeological Site Park covers an area of 4.22 square kilometers and will be implemented in three phases according to the plan. So although it is big, the goal is clear, and it is basically impossible to get lost.
according to the road signs in the park, you can reach the city site.
In p>1954, the site of Panlongcheng was discovered. In 1988, it was announced as a national key cultural relic protection unit. In 2111, it was named as one of the 1,111 archaeological discoveries in China in the 21th century.
Here, the editors saw the real face of ancient society revealed by archaeologists.
The territory of Shang Dynasty lies to the north of the Yangtze River. According to experts' research, there is a saying that Panlongcheng was once a military stronghold for the southward expansion of Shang Dynasty. The site includes the palace area, the walls in the southeast and northwest, the Lijiazui tomb area and the north moat.
before entering the palace area, I saw the north moat. After thousands of years of vicissitudes, the moat no longer exists, so the park uses pebbles as a sign to facilitate everyone to see the area where the river is located.
go into the city along the north gate, and you can see the palace area. The palace area now presented is a restoration exhibition of the relics, which has been raised to a proper height to ensure that no harm will be caused to the historical relics.
The palaces are divided into Palace No.1 and Palace No.2, with the front palace being used for discussing politics and the back for sleeping, which also created the earliest palace pattern in China.
It doesn't seem to occupy a large area now, but it was a very powerful building more than 3,111 years ago.
Several archaeological exploration sites are reserved beside the palace, which enhances the impression of the archaeological site, and it feels that the compilation can also become a little assistant of archaeologists.
Across the lake from the palace area is the Lijiazui tomb area. According to the shape, specifications and funerary objects of the tombs, archaeologists speculate that the No.2 tomb in the tomb area is the tomb of the highest leader of Panlong City.
After professional exploration by archaeologists, it is found that there are many precious historical sites waiting to be excavated underground. At present, the archaeological excavation of Panlongcheng site is still in progress.

The route to visit the ruins of Panlongcheng can be divided into internal and external routes. The insider can walk around the palace and then return, and can understand the relevant history and culture. Outside, you can walk around the city wall and enjoy reeds, birds and rivers, which is also leisurely enough.
The two most important areas of Panlongcheng National Archaeological Site Park, besides the site area, the other is the museum. The new museum is under renovation and has not yet opened. But in the temporary exhibition hall, the editors saw many precious ancient relics.
Tomb No.2 of Lijiazui
The tomb No.2 of Lijiazui, which was scaled down by 3:1, has three floors from the periphery to the middle. The owner of the tomb was buried in the middle, a dog was buried in the waist pit, and there were three martyrdom skeletons on the outside.

The cultural relics here include bronze, jade and pottery. Due to the limited conditions and security facilities of the temporary exhibition hall, a slight difference in technology may bring harm to historical relics, so the bronze and jade exhibits are all one-to-one copies, and all the originals have been preserved. When the new museum is completed, the original works will be displayed in it.
All the pottery in the exhibition hall is genuine. After thousands of years of erosion, the pottery is no longer complete. The lines on the surface of pottery are traces repaired by archaeologists. There are also some stone tools used by the ancients for production and life.

A large pottery jar < At that time, more high-tech ways will be used to present precious historical relics and archaeological knowledge, and I suddenly feel so excited.
