Shanghai Oriental Fisherman's Wharf was formerly the Shanghai Central Aquatic Products Wholesale Market (Shanghai Fish Market) built at 1938. This project starts from Yangshupu Waterworks in the west and reaches Yangshupu Port in the east, along the river bank line for about 700 meters. It is an important measure taken by Yangpu District Committee and Government to implement the construction of "Four Centers" in Shanghai, an important supporting project for the 20 10 Shanghai World Expo, and the first major project of riverside development in Yangpu District.
