Waterproof construction technology of toilet
Waterproof construction technology of toilet includes grass-roots cleaning, detailed additional layer construction, coating waterproof layer construction, water testing and so on.

1, grassroots cleaning

Before the construction of coating waterproof layer, use a shovel to remove the gray skin on the surface of the base, and use a broom to clean up the dust, sand and other sundries, especially the pipe root, floor drain and drain. If there is oil stain, brush it off with a wire brush and sandpaper. The surface of the base must be smooth, and the depressions should be filled with cement putty.

2, additional layer construction details

Before waterproof coating is applied at the grass-roots level, additional layers should be applied to the parts that are easy to leak, such as pipe roots, floor drains, drain outlets, and yin and yang angles. Dip in the prepared paint with a paint brush, and evenly brush it on the weak parts that are easy to leak, such as pipe root, floor drain, and angle of yin and yang, and don't miss painting (the junction between the ground and the corner is waterproof, and the wall is rolled up to 250mm high).

After the surface is dried at room temperature for several hours, apply the second waterproof coating. After 24 hours of hard work, a large area of coated waterproof layer can be constructed, and the thickness of each additional layer should be 0.6 mm.

3, coating waterproof layer construction

Use a plastic or rubber scraper to evenly scrape the prepared HB waterproof coating for kitchen and bathroom on the surface of the base coated with primer, with a thickness of 0.6mm and a uniform scraping amount of 0.6 ~ 0.8 kg/㎡. When operating, the wall should be used first, then the land should be used, and the operation should be reversed from the inside out.

4. Hydrostatic test

After the waterproof layer in the bathroom and kitchen is dried and solidified, the sewer is blocked, and the water injection height is about 20cm. A ridge brick is built at the threshold to conduct a 24-hour closed water experiment to see if there is any wet water point on the downstairs roof. If there is no wet point, it proves that the waterproof construction is qualified and the waterproof quality is good.

Precautions for waterproof construction of toilet:

1, the ground should be flat.

The ground should be leveled with cement mortar and then waterproof. Avoid leakage of waterproof coating due to uneven thickness or piercing waterproof coiled material.

2, the key parts should be waterproof.

The joint between the wall and the ground, the joint between the sewer pipe and the ground are all prone to problems and leakage, so it must be waterproof.

3, the wall should also be waterproof.

Generally, the bathroom wall should be waterproof about 30cm high to prevent water from infiltrating into the wall, so as to achieve better waterproof effect.

4, waterproof test must be done.

Only by doing a waterproof test can we know whether there is leakage on the wall and the ground, and can we know whether the waterproof quality is good or not.
