In addition, legal persons or natural persons in Taiwan Province Province can apply for international registration through the Trademark Office. At present, legal persons or natural persons in Hong Kong and Macao Special Administrative Regions cannot apply for international registration through the Trademark Office.
2. Application conditions
A trademark applying for international registration can be a trademark that has been registered in China or a trademark that has been registered and accepted in China.
3. Treatment method
(1) The applicant applies online or logs off by himself;
(2) The applicant entrusts an agency to handle it.
4. Processing steps
Submit an application for international registration through online application or paper application → pay the registration fee according to the Notice of International Registration Fee for Trademarks → obtain an international registration certificate.
5. Application materials
(1) Madrid trademark international registration application;
(2) Foreign language application form (MM2 form);
(3) Qualification documents stamped or signed by the applicant, such as a copy of business license, a copy of residence certificate, a copy of identity documents, etc. ;
(4) If an agent is entrusted, a power of attorney shall be attached;
(5) If the United States is specified, submit the MM 18 form.
