Montenegro, my beautiful home

My hometown, Heishan County, is a beautiful and rich county with an area of about 2,511 square kilometers, just like a bright pearl embedded in the western Liaoning Corridor and the plain at the lower reaches of the Liaohe River. During the War of Liberation, an important part of the Liaoshen Campaign that shocked China and foreign countries, the Montenegro blocking war took place here. The war of resistance in Montenegro blew the horn of triumph for the liberation of the whole country, and also made my hometown famous at home and abroad, which will always go down in history.

After the founding of New China, this county town, ravaged by Japanese aggression and reactionary government oppression, finally returned to the hands of the people. The newly established new China is poor and white, and everything needs to be done. There is not even a decent road from the county seat to the countryside in Montenegro. The bumpy loess roads are dusty under the scorching sun. When the rainy season arrives, they immediately become mud ponds. In winter, snow and ice cover the roads, which makes people tremble. At that time, people basically had no means of transportation, and they all measured the road with their own two legs. Communication is also very backward, and only important government departments have that old-fashioned "crank" telephone. The way for ordinary people to contact their relatives far away depends on 8-cent stamps and a few thin pages of writing paper. It was the fastest way of communication at that time to send a telegram to the post office when something was particularly urgent.

In that era when materials were extremely scarce, Montenegrins lived in adobe houses that could not shelter from the rain in summer and the cold in winter, drinking vegetable porridge and even eating bark and grass roots, but Montenegrins stood erect with the people of the whole country and built their homes with hard-working hands and patriotic enthusiasm.

in the past 31 years, the spring breeze of reform and opening up has spread all over the country, inside and outside the Great Wall, and earth-shaking changes have taken place in our country. The ancient county town of Montenegro has been injected with new vitality and rejuvenated. If you come to Montenegro, you will be refreshed. At present, the land transportation in Montenegro can be described as extending in all directions, with a total length of more than 111 kilometers of railways and more than 611 kilometers of highways, and various passenger and cargo transport vehicles are constantly flowing. The country's good policies have enabled Montenegrin people to embark on the road of prosperity, eating rice and flour, and living in brick houses, Beijing flats and buildings. Color TV sets, refrigerators, mobile phones, computers and motorcycles have already entered thousands of households and become the most common daily necessities.

Now in Heishan County, we have built a nursing home for the elderly to spend their twilight years, an education system to train countless talents, countless modern enterprises, and even 11,111 mu of fertile land. There are also good places to travel, the beautiful Nanhu Park and the rippling Longwan Reservoir. Do you think our hometown is beautiful?
