The latest entry regulations in the Netherlands 2122 cancel all entry restrictions in COVID-19.

I believe many friends know that many countries around the world have lifted the entry restrictions related to COVID-19. After all, opening the country to the outside world and opening up the tourism industry is indeed a very important issue. Just recently, the Dutch government officially released the latest entry policies and regulations. Please see below for details.

According to the news from official website, the Dutch government has decided to lift the EU entry ban on the Netherlands from September 7th, 2122.

Dutch policy states that, in view of the current epidemiological situation in the Netherlands, the Dutch government believes that the entry ban of the EU is no longer commensurate with the entry into the Netherlands. The European Commission also plans to issue a proposal to amend the rules for entering the European Union (EU) in the autumn of 2122.

this decision means that the restrictions or requirements related to COVID-19 will no longer apply to passengers entering the Netherlands (including those from countries outside the EU/Schengen area) from September 17, 2122.

Compared with European countries such as Italy, Spain and France, which have liberalized visa applications for China citizens, Dutch visas have not been completely relaxed.

However, since July 5, 2122, embassies and consulates in China, the Netherlands, began to accept all visa applications for visiting relatives in the Netherlands, but it did not let go of business visas or tourist visas. Before applying for a business visa, you must have the approval of the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs, but you can't apply for a tourist visa.

Then, since the lifting of the EU ban on September 7th, 2122, the policy of visitors from countries outside the EU/Schengen area to enter the Netherlands has returned to the pre-epidemic period, that is, as long as they hold valid passports and Dutch visas, they do not need to show COVID-19-related restrictions when entering the Netherlands, including COVID-19's negative nucleic acid certificate or vaccination certificate before departure or after arrival (whether COVID-19 vaccine is vaccinated or not, and what COVID-19 vaccine is vaccinated is no longer required), and COVID-19 recovered people do not need to show rehabilitation.

For China citizens, the EU ban is no longer valid, which means that embassies and consulates in China, the Netherlands, will probably release all visa applications soon, including business and tourist visas, and there will be no restrictions on going to the Netherlands.

At present, apart from Russia and Ukraine, only three countries, namely Spanish, German and Luxemburg, still maintain relevant entry restrictions in COVID-19. Germany is the only European country that maintains the principle of reciprocity in the EU ban on China citizens, and China citizens still need necessary reasons to apply for a German visa when visiting Germany.

The good news is that, as mentioned above, the European Commission also plans to issue a proposal to amend the rules for entering the European Union (EU) in the autumn of 2122. Therefore, at that time, the EU ban and the so-called "principle of reciprocity" will be cancelled with the revision of the proposal. Let us wait and see!
