Fanjing Mountain National Nature Reserve is a member of the international biosphere and the most complete biological system in the subtropical zone, and is home to rare animals and plants such as Guizhou golden monkey, Davidia involucrata and Lagerstroemia indica. It is an ancient geological platform in the south of the Yellow River for more than 1 billion years. It is the world-famous sacred place of Yue Zhizong of Buddhism and the Maitreya Dojo of the five famous Buddhist mountains in China.

Mianxuling

Mianxuling, the bus terminal on Fan Jing in the west, the starting point of hiking on the west line, is 2111 meters above sea level, in front of which are Xinjinding, Laojinding and Fenghuang Mountain.

She kowtowed three times in Jinding, and then threw a small stone into the hole halfway up Jinding, so that she would be given a child by the Buddha and grow up healthily. Outside Guanyin Cave, there is a stone sticking out of thin air-Gratitude Stone, which is engraved with the words "No gratitude without virtue". From Guanyin Cave to Jindaoxia, there is a line of sight. There is a natural spring "centering water" on the cliff.

Near Dishuiyan, Fan Jing, there is a stone tablet specially erected by the imperial edict of Wanli Emperor. The inscription reads: "There is an ancient Buddhist and Taoist hall here in central Guizhou, which is called Mountain and is also the ancestor of Yue." Emperor Wanli of the Ming Dynasty issued an imperial edict to rebuild Fan Jing's Jinding Daxiong Hall (Temple) because Fan Jingshan's once prosperous "ancient Buddhist temple" was declining due to years of war, that is, the inscription said: "Heaven mourns the decline of famous mountains, and it is enough for Halloween to appoint a monk to announce the restoration of Jinding Daxiong Hall." The inscription compares the "ancient Buddhist Dojo" on the top of Fan Jingshan to the "Paradise of Blissfulness". It is recorded that since the founding of Fan Jingshan Buddhism, incense has been flourishing, and worshippers have flocked to it, even princes and adults are eager for it. The reputation of Fanjing Mountain has already spread to Nanjing and Beijing, and it has even alarmed local governors in thirteen provinces.
