Zhang Lan, born on April 7, 1958 in Chaoyang District, Beijing, China, at the age of 9 with her parents to Anlu County, Xiaogan City, Hubei Province, graduated from Beijing Technology and Business University, Cheung Kong Graduate School of Business, entrepreneur, founder of South Beauty, and current chairman of the board of South Beauty Group. After studying in Canada in his early years, he returned to China from Canada in 1991 and entered the catering industry, and after ten years of catering experience and capital accumulation, he founded the South Beauty brand restaurant in 2000.
Zhang Lan is regarded as one of the first batch of "returnees" after the reform and opening-up, and after returning to China, Zhang Lan founded the high-end catering brand "South Beauty", which was a great success and became one of the three biggest catering tycoons in China.
