The main check for infectious diseases, according to MOM, is to check for tuberculosis, AIDS, syphilis, malaria and so on.

Internal medicine, including blood pressure, development, heart and blood vessels, respiratory system, nervous system, and abdominal organs.
Surgical, including height, weight, skin, face, neck, spine, limbs, and joints.
Ear, nose, and throat, including hearing, smell, ear, nose, and throat.
Stomatology, including lip and palate, stuttering, teeth, etc.
Chest fluoroscopy, liver function tests, including transaminases, hepatitis B surface antigen.
Medical Examination Requirements: All medical examinations must be conducted in Singapore, and no medical examination reports from overseas are recognized. All foreigners applying for Work Permit and Long Term Residence Permit are required to undergo a medical examination in a Singapore hospital for a period of 2 years as stipulated by the Ministry of Manpower and Immigration Department.
