The designer @ Pan Xiaoyang to be recommended today has been recommended many times, and his stay is good. Different from other designers with strong personal colors, each of Pan Xiaoyang's works is presented in a very different way.
This time, he transformed the second-hand house for his friends, and the design was bolder. Dramatically removed all the non-bearing walls in the house, and mixed China elements with cement walls throughout the house. Where is the house in Beijing?
The second room
The usable area is 99 square meters.
▲ The original pattern of this house is limited by the division of a large number of thin walls. At the beginning of the design, we completely demolished the house, leaving only the unchangeable structural walls and pipes.
On this basis, it is redesigned, with an east-west load-bearing wall as the dividing line, which is divided into two large spaces, the public space of living room and kitchen on the south side and the private area composed of bedroom and study on the north side.

Considering the number of residents and the lifestyle of the owners, we think that this pattern is too closed and old-fashioned, and the utilization rate is not high, so the whole northbound space is regarded as a whole, and all areas are visually transparent to each other.

After the kitchen wall was removed, an island platform was added between the kitchen and the dining room, which not only increased the area of the kitchen countertop, but also gave the kitchen space a stable visual psychological center.
Considering that the owner lives in the state of 1-2 people most of the time, the dining table is designed to be inserted under the island platform, which does not occupy much space at ordinary times. When friends come home, the dining table is pulled out, forming a huge dining area with 10 people sitting around.
After we removed the thin wall between the dining room and the living room, we made a closet with the whole wall on the east side of the dining room, cleverly hiding the refrigerator and air-conditioning indoor unit in the closet, and hiding many unchangeable pipes and flues in the closet, making the vision simple and tidy.

The corridor between the bathroom and the bedroom is merged with a part of the original main bathroom space to become a study space, and the activity area of the work chair and the corridor use the same area.

Construction details
▲ In order to achieve a real elastic foot feeling, the floor is paved with traditional keel.
▲ Glue the joint between the embedded cast iron bathtub and the edge of the tile. Component AB mandarin duck glue can avoid mildew and has ceramic luster at the same time. Tape masking construction is a step that must not be omitted.
▲ The picture shows the double walls of the bathroom sliding door and the hollowed-out crib in the corner of the bathtub. There is an old bathroom heating pipe hidden inside, which can't be removed and replaced. In order to meet the structural strength of the wall without occupying too much area, the steel structure is used to weld the lining.
▲ The structural strength of natural marble countertops is not ideal. Considering the extreme situation, the cantilever part needs to be able to bear the dynamic load of adults. Therefore, the interior of the marble countertop is welded with thick angle steel, and then the multilayer board is sandwiched to provide a stable and flat supporting interface for the marble countertop.
