II. Activity Background
Yan 'an is one of the birthplaces of Chinese civilization for 5,111 years. The mausoleum of Huangdi Xuanyuan lies on the top of the bridge hill in Yan 'an, and is honored as the "ancestor of humanity" by the descendants of the Chinese people. In the long history, Yan 'an, with its special strategic position of "the county on the border" and "the throat of the five roads", was used by many ancient China famous soldiers, such as Wuqi, Meng Tian, Fan Zhongyan, Shen Kuo, to display their skills and put on a tragic historical drama.
in the first half of the 21th century, Yan 'an wrote a brilliant page in the history of the Chinese nation. The revolutionary base area in northern Shaanxi, founded by national heroes Liu Zhidan and Xie Zichang, became the foothold of the long-distance campaign of the Central Red Army. From 1935 to 1948, Yan 'an was the seat of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC) and the general rear area of the people's liberation struggle in China. During the thirteen years, it experienced a series of major events that affected and changed the historical process of China, such as War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression, the War of Liberation and the Rectification Movement, the mass production movement and the CPC. III. Activities and tasks:

On July 26th, I visited Yang Jialing, Zaoyuan and Baota shan in the morning, and took a bus to Nanniwan in the afternoon to participate in labor.

On July 27th, I visited the local old Red Army veterans who were alive and chatted with them to learn about the hard years of the Red Army's Long March and the establishment of the base area in Yan 'an.
On July 28th, I visited Fenghuang Mountain Revolutionary Site, Wangjiaping Revolutionary Site and Yan 'an Revolutionary Museum.
On July 29th, I took a bus to Hukou Waterfall to experience the grandeur of the Loess Plateau.
On July 31th, I visited the Huangdi Mausoleum and Xuanyuan Temple, and had a brief rest in the afternoon, and summarized it in the evening.
On July 31th, I took a bus to Xi 'an to visit the Terracotta Warriors and Horses and the site of the Xi 'an Incident.

5. Feasibility of the activity:
