Operation CD is a public service campaign launched in January 2013, which became one of the top ten news buzzwords, Internet buzzwords and one of the most recognized public service brands in 2013.
The aim of Operation CD-ROM is not to order more in restaurants, not to play more in cafeterias, and not to cook more in kitchens. The campaign advocates practicing economy and opposing wastefulness, and drives people to cherish food and eat all the food on their plates, and has gained support from the central government to the public.
The founding team of "CD-ROM Action" is not a public welfare organization, and its members come from different industries such as finance, advertising and insurance. In early January 2013, three members of IN_33 sent out a call to "start with me, no leftovers today", which was received by many people, and on January 10th, it was proposed to set up a "CD-ROM Festival". The name "CD-ROM" became the code name. In addition to posting microblogging, the members decided to personally deliver the leaflets and posters to the restaurants on the streets and alleys.
