Legal Basis: Circular on the Issuance of Provisions on Classification Criteria for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises

The State Council on Further Promoting the Development of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises. Statistical departments shall establish and improve the system of classified statistics, monitoring, analysis and release of small and medium-sized enterprises, and strengthen the statistical analysis of enterprises below the scale. The relevant departments shall publicly release information on development planning, industrial policies, and industry dynamics to the public in a timely manner, and gradually establish market monitoring, risk prevention and early warning mechanisms for small and medium-sized enterprises.
