Hengshui has a long history and outstanding people. In the long historical years, historical celebrities such as the Northern Yan Emperor Feng Ba and the Northern Qi Emperor Gao Huan have emerged. Stories such as Su Hu's offering of da ji and Meng Tian's calligraphy, Cao Cao's crusade against Yuan Shao, and Dou Jiande Uprising all happened here. There are also romantic figures such as Dong Zhongshu, a master of Confucianism, Dou Ying, a famous scholar in Han Dynasty, Gao Ying, a famous scholar in Sui Dynasty, and Li Fang, a famous scholar in Northern Song Dynasty, all of whom are from Hengshui. The long history has left a large number of places of interest and cultural landscapes for Hengshui, such as Castle Peak, Tombs, Zhou Yafu Tomb, Anji Bridge, Baoyun Temple, and Kong, a famous economist in the Tang Dynasty. Anji Bridge is a seven-hole stone arch bridge, which was built in 1767 and has a history of 230 years. Baoyun Temple's Baoyun Tower was built in the Tang Dynasty. It is a brick-wood tower with 8 floors and a height of 35 meters.
