Urban rail operating units should formulate specific measures to control large passenger flows according to specific conditions to ensure the smooth implementation of passenger flow control.
(1) Increase train capacity. According to the direction of large passenger flow, when large passenger flow occurs, the nearest turn-back line and parking line are used to organize train operation, and temporary trains are added to increase train capacity, thus ensuring the evacuation of large passenger flow. Train capacity is the key to the organization of large passenger flow
(2) Enhance the ability of fare collection. The poor fare collection ability is the main obstacle to the evacuation of large passenger flow. Therefore, when setting the location of fare collection equipment, the station should consider providing a passage to evacuate large passenger flow. During the evacuation of large passenger flow, preparations should be made for ticketing service and related service equipment and facilities in advance, as follows:
① Preparation of fare collection equipment. Before the large passenger flow occurs, the equipment maintenance personnel should maintain and overhaul all the fare collection equipment at the station in advance to ensure that the fare collection equipment can be used normally when the large passenger flow occurs.
② preparation of tickets and change. According to the passenger flow forecast and the number of tickets and change consumed by large passenger flow in the past, the station should apply for and reserve sufficient tickets and change from the ticketing department before the occurrence of large passenger flow.
③ preparation of temporary ticket booth. The station should set up a temporary ticket booth at the location where the inbound passenger flow is concentrated according to the direction of large passenger flow. For stations with small hall area, temporary ticket kiosks can be set up in passages with more passengers entering the station.
④ preparation of escalators and vertical elevators. The station shall notify the manufacturer in advance to carry out maintenance and overhaul of all escalators and vertical elevators in the station, focusing on the inspection of the brushes, toothed plates and handrails of escalators to ensure that the escalators can be opened and changed normally when the three-level control of large passenger flow is implemented.
⑤ preparation of temporary guide signs and isolation equipment. The station should reserve some temporary guiding signs, warning signs, iron horses, telescopic iron fence height barriers and other equipment, which can be used to post and put them in appropriate positions according to the direction of large passenger flow and the requirements of passenger flow organization before the occurrence of large passenger flow.
@ Preparation of other passenger transport equipment. Before the occurrence of large passenger flow, the station should also prepare to manually enter the provincial broadcasting room, spread the sound through the room, build the information emergency education drug assembly rack in Dongqiang, a customer-funded city, etc., and correspondingly increase passenger transport equipment such as portable broadcasting and docking machines according to the situation of station staff.
