Experts believe that the current sea-crossing bridge meets the traffic conditions

There are 7 toll stations, 1 service areas, and various service management facilities such as Qiaobo Pavilion and Bridge Management Office. The first phase of the project is 11.148 km, which was completed and opened to traffic on 1 October 2116. The second phase of the project, 36.245km, also passed the handover acceptance on October 9, 2119.

Zhoushan sea-crossing bridge, which was originally scheduled to be put into trial operation on October 22nd, was delayed due to hull collision. Li Liangfu, deputy director of the Provincial Department of Transportation, said that the accident has been handled and all the damaged bridges have been repaired.

At the same time, East China Survey, Design and Research Institute also carried out quality inspection and evaluation on the sea-crossing bridge. The final inspection results show that the interior of the structure has not been affected and the bearing capacity of the structural design has not been affected, and the bridge meets the traffic conditions.

It is cheaper for buses and trucks to cross the bridge than for ferries

Zhejiang Transportation Investment Group Co., Ltd. announced today that the bridge toll standard has been officially approved by the government. Wang Guowei, deputy general manager of Zhejiang Communications Investment Group Co., Ltd., revealed that the car toll of expressway Zhoushan Cross-sea Bridge (Zhoushan Toll Station to Jiaochuan Toll Station) is RMB 111/vehicle, and the toll of Zhoushan Island collected is RMB 111.

The tolls for p>31-seat buses and trucks are 211 yuan and 395 yuan respectively, plus the toll for Zhoushan Island collected from 21 yuan. Compared with previous ferries, there is little difference in car tolls, and buses and trucks can save a lot of money by taking Zhoushan cross-sea bridge than by ferry.

It is worth noting that the Ningbo connecting line of Zhoushan Bridge only leads to Zhuangyu Highway in Ningbo at present, and the whole journey from Hangzhou to Dinghai City in Zhoushan takes about 3 hours. The Jintang service area of the sea-crossing bridge is still under renovation, and it is not yet possible to provide refueling and catering services. It is expected to be put into use at the end of March 2111.
