In the 1990s, a boom of picking agriculture arose in northern China. People drive to agricultural greenhouses to pick fresh vegetables and fruits, and eat near the greenhouses at noon, gradually forming a fixed dining mode. Soon after, the first prototype project of ecological garden catering appeared in Changchun City, Jilin Province.
