Over the years, overseas decoration has been working hard with firm faith and solid steps, covering more than 111 large and medium-sized cities in 29 provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government and Hong Kong and overseas markets, and undertaking a number of key projects with national influence. The five-star hotel project represented by Beijing Guobin Hotel is one of them.

This hotel is a supporting project of Diaoyutai State Guesthouse in the State Council, and it is a five-star business hotel for foreign affairs.

The construction period of this project is 8 months, and it was completed in August 2111, with a project area of 45111m2 and a project cost of RMB 21 million.

The interior decoration design of Beijing State Guest Hotel began in March, 1998. At the beginning of the design, the owner Zhongshi Group and the manager RADDISION Hotel Management Company clearly defined the hotel as a modern five-star business hotel with European style. At the same time, the owner specially hired Mr. Chars.Bell, an internationally renowned senior hotel management expert, and Mr. Dale.Keller, a master of interior design, as consultants for hotel function and decoration design. Thanks to the participation of two experts, the overall design essentials were quickly established:

1. Under the premise of European style, whether these two contradictions can be well coordinated becomes the key to the success of design.

2. Inclusive of ancient and modern times, blending Chinese and foreign cultures, seeking the combination of the two cultures in changes and trying to implement them in the decoration design of each area of the interior space, striving to embody diversified and diversified cultural connotations in the pursuit of the overall unified style of the hotel, and creating a unique cultural and artistic atmosphere such as "modern traditional cultural view" and "China in the eyes of foreigners" while constructing the elegant and luxurious five-star hotel interior space.

3. Using pure, elegant and bright beige as the background, setting off high-grade furniture, lamps and artworks, and combining with the outstanding three-dimensional sense and rhythm, setting off the elegant cultural atmosphere of the hotel has become the basic principle throughout the design of the hotel.

These basic principles have been carried out in the decoration design of each work area of the hotel, which makes the overall decoration of the hotel achieve the decorative effect of paying equal attention to luxury and elegance to a considerable extent.

First, the public area of the hotel

As a five-star hotel, the public area of the Ambassador Hotel is rich in content and comprehensive in facilities. Apart from the iconic lobby space, restaurants and banquet facilities, high-end conference centers and recreation facilities have their own characteristics in functional arrangement and decoration. These public facilities are mainly concentrated on the first to fourth floors of the hotel, which is the most important part of the hotel's interior decoration project.

(1) Lobby space featuring large murals, colonnades and palm trees

The building structure of the public space of the State Guest Hotel itself has incomparable advantages of many hotels-a * * * enjoyment space with access to five floors and direct outdoor light is where the lobby bar is located. No matter from the traffic function or decoration, it is not only the most popular area in the hotel lobby space, but also the center of the hotel public space. On the south and north sides of the lobby, there are two sets of vertical traffic shafts that go directly to the high-rise respectively. The difference is that the shafts of the two sightseeing elevators on the south side face the lobby bar. Whether staying in the lobby bar or going up and down with the sightseeing elevator, guests will be in an interesting identity transition between "enjoying the scenery" and "being regarded as enjoying the scenery". On the north side of the lobby bar, the position of "sitting north facing south" is an excellent solid wall with a height of five stories, facing a huge landscape mural with a height of eight meters and a width of six meters, and its resplendent theme contrasts with the stone wall of Mi Huang Yun, which is absolutely harmonious both under the light and during the day. Murals were specially created for the hotel by many painters of the Central Academy of Fine Arts. The content and form of murals are traditional and China. However, when they are abstractly deformed and decomposed, they appear in a lobby space surrounded by twelve typical Roman decorative columns in a combined form, which brings people many different feelings. This is the charm of the hotel lobby, and its momentum and position of controlling the overall situation are self-evident.

4. The grand ballroom on the second floor is an important part of the dining, and it is also an indispensable part of the whole hotel. The Grand Ballroom consists of two parts: the front hall and the main hall. Four sets of doors that can be folded up completely combine the front hall and the main hall into one, forming a super-large banquet hall that can accommodate 811 people. The net height of the main hall is 4.2 meters, and a long movable partition can divide the main hall into two to meet various needs. In order to meet the needs of banquets, performances and conferences, a supporting interpreter room with simultaneous interpretation function for international conferences is set up on one side of the main hall. Two groups of large crystal ceiling powders occupy the main position of the ceiling in the main hall. The carpet on the floor and the wooden ornaments on the wall will make the Grand Ballroom an extremely luxurious and magnificent place, so as to meet the important task of undertaking major state affairs after its completion.

5. Above the two-story grand ballroom is the podium roof garden located between the two main buildings on the fourth floor. It is also a special independent bar in the hotel-Four Seasons Garden Bar. Compared with the coffee shop on the first floor, it is more like the street square of a small town in Europe: the outer windows of the high-rise rooms surrounded by it are decorated with beige imitation stone paint, beige window covers and line corners, giving people a feeling of the outer walls of European ancient buildings; The ceiling, like the lobby, is a glass grid. Except for a few white plastic-sprayed circular ventilation pipes, there is nothing to block the outdoor sunshine. In the center of the garden is an octagonal buffet table, with a large bronze-like receptacle on the two-story countertop, surrounded by stone railings. From then on, the stone tunnels diverging in all directions and the surrounding edges of Sike strengthened people's feeling of being outdoors. Surrounded by green artificial lawns, groups of rattan chairs are placed in them; Four groups of big banyan trees with a height of six meters are placed in it and become another important landscape in the roof garden; Tieyi pavilions and hedgerows are more like groups of stage scenery scattered on both sides of the garden. Separated by a transparent glass is a pool of clear water, which is the hotel's indoor swimming pool. Especially at night, the waves in the swimming pool and the little lights and candlelight in the garden complement each other, and the feeling of quietness and tranquility arises spontaneously in people's hearts, as if you can hear cicadas singing on four big banyan trees as long as you pay attention.

(3) Hotel conference center named after the world-famous river

The conference center of the hotel consists of 12 conference rooms, which are located on the second and third floors of the main building. There are eight meeting rooms on the east side of the escalator on the second floor. Because of their proximity to the banquet hall, they have the possibility of multi-function in use. The eight conference rooms are divided into three types according to the size of the rooms and the level of decoration. There are three A-type conference rooms, each with an area of 72 square meters. Two conference rooms of type B, each with an area of 64 square meters; There are two C-type meeting rooms, which are the highest among the three types of meeting rooms. They are private dining rooms for the board of directors, each with an area of 54 square meters and can be used by 12 people. The tables and chairs used in the three types of eight conference rooms can be flexibly replaced according to the changes in needs. Each meeting room is equipped with an advanced data line connection port for holding a remote video conference. Four small conference rooms with general functions are located near the entrance of the elevator hall on the third floor, with convenient transportation, which can be used for daily meetings of hotel guests and teams. It is worth mentioning that, according to the management considerations of the hotel management company, the eight meeting rooms on the second floor can also become independent high-grade VIP dining areas at dinner time because of their special location. The conference room (VIP dining room) named after the world-famous river, together with the corresponding indoor art furnishings, will definitely bring unique artistic and cultural enjoyment to the guests who come here for dinner besides delicious food.

(4) Fitness facilities with compact space and sound functions

As mentioned above, the two can be described as borrowing scenery from each other, and the swimming pool is more vibrant because it is adjacent to the green garden bar, and the roof garden has also achieved the reputation of "Chi Pan Bar" because of the heat of a pool of clear water. The swimming pool is not large in area, but its special position makes people have a wide field of vision when they are in it. In the top twelve lattice algae wells, the soft warm light is transmitted through the white film, like the sunshine in summer. On the wall of the main view, a semi-circular brick arch with a height of four meters and a width of eight meters spans the banks of the swimming pool, and there is a lush bamboo forest in the arch. Under the contrast of the lighting effect of simulating outdoor natural light, people who are indoors are taken to the nature full of wild interest.

This is a part of the sports facilities set on the fourth floor. The swimming pool is adjacent to the sauna and dressing area for male and female guests. The space area is not extravagant, but the reasonable layout makes it have good functional equipment and compact and reasonable use streamline in a limited space. The gym is located at the end of the fitness area, which is divided into strength training area and aerobic dance area, and another passage is connected with the larger second-phase fitness center planned in the near future, which makes it possible for the hotel to develop reasonably and continuously in streamline organization.

The lobby space and the rooftop garden bar of the hotel are the key points of the design in the public area of the Ambassador Hotel, and they are also the two main "selling points" of the hotel. The particularity of their spatial relationship makes the area between the two spaces on the fourth floor a very distinctive viewing space. The chess room and billiards room, which belong to the hotel's recreational facilities but are relatively quiet and elegant, are arranged on both sides of the four-story guest elevator hall. Guests staying here can have a panoramic view of the space of the lobby bar on the north side and enjoy the green of the open garden bar just a few steps away. Especially at night, the lobby bar under the lights and the Four Seasons Garden in the night are even more beautiful, making the chess room and billiards room an ideal place for many tasteful guests to talk.

Second, the guest room part

The guest room part of the hotel is from the first floor to the sixteenth floor, of which the third floor to the thirteenth floor are standard rooms, which are divided into many standard rooms due to the different plane layout and furniture layout scheme, and there are also many suites. Each guest room is equipped with the necessary guest room facilities of a five-star hotel, which conveys the warm and comfortable feeling of home to the guests through elegant and bright colors and the combination of Chinese and western furniture. Modern network facilities penetrate into every room, making hotel room facilities further meet the needs of modern people's life.

According to the standard of hardware facilities in five-star hotels, the 14th, 15th and 16th floors of this hotel are uniformly designated as executive VIP floors, with an executive living room equivalent to the sum of five rooms, to meet the needs of high-end business guests for business talks, breakfast and lunch.

The guest rooms in the executive floor are mainly two suites, including three presidential suites on the sixteenth floor. The dark wood and warm brown wallpaper in each room is matched with gorgeous lighting, which sets off the elegance and luxury of the executive room. In addition to the data cable socket of the dedicated computer, each guest room is equipped with videophone equipment, and with a more advanced facility such as electric curtains, this three-story guest room provides the highest level of service for hotel guests.

The three ultra-luxury presidential suites located on the 16th floor have a total area of nearly 1,111 square meters, which are distinguished from each other in terms of decorative style and artistic atmosphere. Among them, the decorative style of P1-type is based on minimalism. Through concise means, refined modeling language and elegant and pure surface decoration materials, it expresses the popular life concept of advocating minimalism in Europe and America. The configuration of furniture and the selection of lamps and works of art all follow this style. P3 is the largest presidential suite in the hotel (451 square meters). In the design, the style is positioned in the extremely luxurious palace atmosphere that highlights the classical style. Every piece of furniture and every piece of fabric can be appreciated as handicrafts, and the display of artworks is more intended to bring infinite aesthetic feeling to people, and at the same time, it makes people feel as if they were in the palaces of European monarchies in the 16th and 17th centuries. Its decorative effect is worthy of the hotel's unique name: "Royal Suite". P2 suite, the smallest of the three suites, is somewhere between the two in terms of style positioning, and eclecticism is adopted as the main theme of decoration and art design. Diversified empty style and artistic style coexist in this space, which makes the artistic atmosphere of this suite have a more unique charm than the other two presidential suites.
