The college has mechanical and electrical engineering departments, mining engineering departments, construction engineering departments and information engineering departments. There are 27 majors, including higher vocational majors: mechanical and electronic engineering, mining engineering, computer application and maintenance, business English, industrial and civil construction engineering; "Five-year consistent system" college and general secondary school majors: electromechanical technology application, mining technology, computer and application, industrial and civil architecture, survey engineering technology, architectural decoration, electronic technology application, mine ventilation and safety, secretarial, building economic management, urban construction, thermal equipment operation of power plants, numerical control technology application, machinery manufacturing and control and other majors. Among them, industrial and civil architecture and electromechanical technology application are provincial key majors.

The school is divided into North Campus (Jiaozuo Staff Medical College), South Campus and General School (Taihang Road).
