What food can be brought into Shanghai Disneyland?
Previously, Shanghai Disneyland couldn't bring food into the park, and flipping bags sparked a hot debate. But now Disney has allowed food into the park, but not all food can be brought in. Besides, Shanghai has implemented garbage classification, so people should be careful about throwing garbage.

010 to 1010, visitors can bring food and beverages for their own use into Shanghai Disneyland, but not food that needs to be heated, reheated, processed, refrigerated or kept warm, or food with an irritating odor.

Food items that cannot be brought into the park include (but are not limited to): instant noodles that require heated water, food items with self-heating capabilities, and durian.

Visitors will continue to be able to bring bottled water and beverages into the park, and the more than 50 direct-drinking water outlets and more than 20 hot-water outlets located throughout the park will continue to provide hot and cold water free of charge to visitors. Alcoholic beverages, cans and glass containers will continue to be prohibited from being brought into the park (with the exception of canned food for small infants). For visitors who need to store personal items that cannot be brought into the park, the resort is offering a $10 per item per day storage service.

Visitors can enjoy their own food and beverages in the park's designated picnic areas, but they need to abide by the rules of garbage sorting and *** with maintaining the park's environmental cleanliness.

The resort's food and beverage team will continue to enhance the diversity of food offerings in the park by adding more food of different varieties, flavors and prices to provide visitors with a wider range of dining options.

Visitors can also visit Disneytown, where there are many dining options. The town is close to Shanghai Disneyland and has a range of restaurants from well-known brands. Shanghai Disneyland ticket holders can leave and return to the park multiple times at any time on opening day at no extra charge. Visitors can re-enter the park after dining at Disney Town.

According to relevant laws and regulations and guidance from government agencies, all guests and their carry-on luggage must undergo a security check before entering Shanghai Disneyland. Guests are required to follow the instructions of cast members for security checks. All personal carry-on baggage must be inspected and all guests are required to pass through metal detectors.

Ensuring the safety of all guests and Cast Members is the overriding principle of all work at Shanghai Disney Resort. The resort's security screening procedures are based on more than 60 years of experience in Disney Parks operations around the world, and each Disney Resort destination performs similar security screening procedures on a daily basis.

In order to minimize the impact of security screening on the guest experience, the resort team will immediately implement more friendly and user-friendly security screening processes and services. Visitors are advised to open their bags during the security check. If requested by the security personnel, visitors may remove suspicious items on their own and return them to their original location after inspection.

In the future, the resort will further optimize the security check process with the help of security equipment such as x-ray machines and auxiliary human services.

Items that are not permitted to enter the Resort include (but are not limited to): flammable and explosive items; weapons of any kind; imitation weapons or toy guns; food that requires heating, reheating, processing, refrigeration or warming, and food that has an irritating odor; alcoholic beverages; or jars of glass containers; bags, containers or baggage with dimensions exceeding 56cm x 36cm cm x 23cm cm; carts and vehicles on wheels; play equipment with pulleys; professional photographic and video equipment and other related tools; large tripods, folding chairs, stools; animals; items prohibited by relevant laws and other dangerous or destructive items.

For safety reasons, personal handbags, parcels or other items may not be brought into the park. The resort will dispose of unattended items appropriately.

Before purchasing park tickets from the various official ticketing channels and platforms, guests are reminded to read the park's instructions, including security screening requirements and items that cannot be brought into the park.
