How to Overtravel and Release Shenyang Machine Tool CAK6 150 (Frank System)
There are five CAK6 150 Di machine tools in a factory, all of which adopt Fanuc series 0i Mate-TC numerical control system. After the program is lost, check the locking and idling of the machine tool. After unlocking, the first block crashed during trial cutting, and the problem could not be solved by using G28 back reference point. The factory can only shut down the machine tool and then start it again. Although it can be solved, it takes a lot of time. At present, the author has three ways to solve this problem.

(1) The processing scheme of directly starting the machine tool locking and idling inspection procedures and closing the machine tool after unlocking can eliminate errors, which is the current method of our factory.

(2) Find out the tool number and the coordinate position of the tool at the end of the program to be checked, enter the tool number (tool compensation must be added) and the coordinate position of the tool end point in MDI, then run the machine tool, and then start the machine tool locking and idling inspection program. The machine tool coordinates remain unchanged after unlocking.

(3) Start the machine tool locking and idling inspection program directly. After unlocking, press the POS screen, press the right extended soft key >, press the operation soft key, then press the right extended soft key > and press the WRK-CD key. When Full Axis appears, press Full Axis to restore the original coordinates.

Because FANUC 0i system is a mid-range system, it uses an absolute encoder, and the machine tool can not return to the reference point. After starting, it is the absolute coordinate value of the machine tool recognized by the system, and there will be no starting error. If an error occurs during the operation, even if it returns to the reference point, it cannot be cleared. This is the shortcoming of absolute encoder, so G28 method cannot be used to solve this problem.

The Fanuc 0i mate-TC system configured by this machine tool (CAK6 150 Di) has such weaknesses (it only appears in this machine tool configuration, but not in Fanuc 0i mate-TC configured by Beijing Changji and Fanuc 0i mate-TC configured by Dalian vigorously). When the machine tool shakes the handwheel in the automatic state, it will change the coordinate system of the machine tool, and the translation shaft is the hand every time it is shaken.

Press "HNDL" on the "POS" screen to query translation errors. If there is any error, in the automatic state, shake the handwheel reversely to shake the coordinate to zero, or turn off the machine tool to start the automatic recovery of the machine tool coordinate system, and the translation error will be automatically eliminated. Attention should be paid to the operation to avoid this phenomenon.
