Regulations on Floor Height
According to the regulations in Section 6 "Floor Height and Net Height" of the National Residential Building Design Code, the floor height of a commercial house must comply with the following standards:
1. The floor height of a residential house should not be higher than 2.80m.
2. The net height of a bedroom and living room should not be lower than 2.40m, and the net height of its partial area should not be lower than 2m.
3, the use of sloping roof space for bedroom, half of the area of the net height should not be less than 2.10m, the rest of the lowest part of the height should not be less than 1.5m.
4, the net height of the kitchen should not be less than 2.20m, bathrooms, toilets, storerooms, net height should not be less than 2m.
5, bathrooms, toilets, squatting toilets, squats should not be less than 2.20m.
5, bathroom, toilet with squat toilet, the squatting floor from the upper storage bend net height should not be less than 1.90m.
Floor height and the concept of net height
1, floor height:
refers to the upper and lower neighboring two floors or the vertical distance between the floor and the ground. If the top floor is a sloping roof, then its storey height should be calculated according to the vertical distance between its floor surface and the lower part of the roof.
2, net height:
Storey height minus the thickness of the floor or the height of the structural layer of the difference. That is: net height = floor height - floor thickness. The net height is usually the height of the buyer directly measured indoors, is the height of the space that can really be used after moving in.
