1. After the garbage is burned, the pathogens in the garbage are completely eliminated. After incineration, the combustible components in garbage can be generally reduced by 80%-90% after decomposition at high temperature. The volume reduction effect is good, which can save a lot of landfill space. The effect of waste incineration after classification is better. Taking garbage as energy source, the heat energy of high-temperature flue gas generated by garbage incineration is converted into steam, which can be used for heating and power generation.
2. The disadvantages of incineration treatment are: large investment, long capital occupation period, certain requirements on the calorific value of garbage, generally not less than 5000kj/kg, which limits its application scope, and the problem of "dioxin" generated in incineration process also needs a lot of capital investment to be effectively treated.
