Route 1: Ancient Xunyang Tour
Generally, when I design a one-day tour of Jiujiang city, I always like to start with the riverside line, because this area brings together the essence of Jiujiang city. Starting from Pipa Pavilion on the east side of the Yangtze River Bridge, it passes through Suojiang Building, Xunyang Building and the newly-built Lang Jing Scenic Area in turn.
Turn left from the supermarket of agriculture, industry and commerce to the two lakes in the city center, and visit Yanshui Pavilion, a landmark building in Jiujiang City, where Jiujiang Museum is located. You can visit for free with your ID card. After visiting Yanshuige, we walked along the east bank of the lake and felt the daily leisure activities of Jiujiang people. Many old people exercise and sing operas by the lake.
Before going to the Gong Li Dam at the junction of the two lakes, you can choose to visit Tianhou Palace and Gan Tang Park along the small dam, or turn left and choose to visit Nengren Temple along Gan Tang North Road-Yu Liang South Road. Nengren Temple has a long history and is worth visiting. After visiting Nengren Temple, you can return to Gong Li Dam from He Zhong Square and continue to visit Tianhou Palace. Then walk along Nanmen Lake, and you can reach Lushan South Road, a famous dining and cultural street in Jiujiang.
Route 2: Food Tour
Jiujiang, as a city along the Yangtze River, is also the largest freshwater lake in China, and fish is its characteristic. Xunyang Fish Banquet is a special dish in this city, and Lushan South Road and Longkaihe Road (also known as Jiulong Street) are relatively famous dining streets. Especially on Lushan South Road, there are many Jiujiang specialties, such as fish banquet, Wuning cuisine and Xiushui cuisine, which are worth visiting. Of course, the Jiujiang River in Longkaihe Road is not inferior, and each has its own advantages. Two places can consider making Chinese food choices.
Jiujiang people's favorite breakfast is radish cake, and with the development of the city, street vendors gradually disappear, and radish cakes sold along the street can also be seen everywhere. At present, there are several well-known radish cake shops in Jiujiang city, such as Sisi radish cake shop near Shengsheng Computer City, which is more formal, but the business is very good and often out of stock. Coincidentally, another famous small restaurant in Jiujiang, Happy Forest Spicy Fish Shop, is also here. Once, an online forum circulated a post "Who hasn't eaten Jiujiang's happy forest spicy fish", which was enough to show its position in the hearts of Jiujiang's delicious people.
Go south along the path in front of the door (Shuangfeng Road), cross Xunyang Road and Jiangzhou Food Market, and you can reach a shop called Xunyang Steamed Bun, where there are also many snacks with Jiujiang characteristics, and the price is also very cheap.
The dining culture in the evening is also relatively strong. Chaisang Food Street, located on the north side of Chaisang Market in Jingjiu Road, Development Zone, is the favorite food stall gathering place of Jiujiang people. All the streets here are places to eat. Although it is called a food stall, it is a regular storefront operation, and the business is as prosperous as a street lamp.
Route 3: Landscape Tour
Jiujiang is a city surrounded by mountains and rivers. There are two lakes in the city center, Gan Tang and Nanmen. There are also lakes such as Bali Lake and Baishui Lake around the city. Lushan Mountain in the south of the city is more famous. Generally speaking, Jiujiang always chooses to climb Ren Haopo of Lushan Mountain in his spare time, not necessarily to the top of the mountain, just for the pleasure of sightseeing.
The bus to Haohanpo is privately contracted by CMB. The Bank of Communications opposite the Shili Building goes a few hundred meters south and takes a bus to Shili Avenue in the downtown area. CMB here can go to Lotus Cave, Tiefo Temple and Tolin Temple. If it's just for water, you can choose to go to Lianhua Cave, and you need to charge a ticket, which seems to be ten yuan. Tolin Temple and Tiefo Temple don't need tickets, and Haorenpo needs a 4-5 yuan management fee, which is halfway up the mountain. Tickets for the above scenic spots are at 1.5-2 yuan, which will fluctuate according to holidays.
In addition, you can also choose to go to the privately-run Cuizhu Villa, where you can have a barbecue, rent a barbecue, or ask him to bake it for you.
Route 4: City Tour
I wonder how many people will travel to see Jiujiang. If there is, I will recommend a city tour route.
Dazhong Road is the commercial essence of this city. Although the rise of Xunyang Road has diverted the shopping crowd in recent years, Dazhong Road is still crowded before the weekend. Dazhong Road is the earliest business district in Jiujiang. At present, it is a pedestrian street with poor management and low facade, but the storefront is relatively complete. You can choose to start your tour from the new Volkswagen Pacific Shopping Plaza in Bajiao City. There are many former concession buildings in the west section of Volkswagen Road, but most of them are dilapidated, and only the ghosting can be seen vaguely at present.
After visiting Dazhong Road, you can choose to "walk the lake" like Jiujiang people and walk around the two lakes. The scenery of Nanhu Park and Lovers Road near Nanmen Lake is my favorite place by the lake. There are trestles and trails on Lovers Road, which is very comfortable to walk.
If you want to feel the magnificence of Jiujiang, you must go to Changhong Avenue and binjiang road. Among them, the high-rise buildings in binjiang road are more concentrated, and the greening along the river is better, which is a different kind of scenery compared with the lakeside. Take the bus. 19, you can also go to Bali Lake New District, the future new urban area of Jiujiang. When you get off at Jiujiang Vocational College Station, you can visit the Victory Park in Bali Lake and look up at the Victory Monument, the highest monument in the world. The road network along the lake has been completed, and the larger-scale "walking the lake" movement can continue. From this, we can also feel the indissoluble bond between Jiujiang City and water.
The above simple tour route designed for me hopes to bring convenience to everyone who comes to Jiujiang.
