1. The Ritz-Carlton Hidden World Resort, Jiuzhaigou:

After so many press releases, it's finally opening. China's first? Jiuzhaigou Ritz-Carlton Hidden World Resort and Spa, the late Aman master Jaya's posthumous masterpiece, but also an all-villa hotel, subject to various influences has not been opened.

The hotel*** has 332 rooms, the largest of any Waldorf Astoria in China. The interior spaces are covered with smooth wood floors and have replaced carpeting with traditional grass mats from Hainanese folklore.

All are outfitted with netted chandeliers, with lampshades replaced by finely textured tassels, and hand-carried lamps on the balcony tables in the twin rooms.

Rooms also include suites with their own private pools, Waldorf suites in duplex configurations, and the Chairman's Residence, a plus for Begonia Bay.

3, Mandarin Oriental Shenzhen:

The Mandarin Oriental Shenzhen, which has been highly anticipated since this year, is scheduled to open in early 2022. 4, Conrad Shenzhen:

After Mandarin Oriental, Shenzhen is expected to welcome a new Conrad in the second half of next year. The hotel has now started preparations for the opening. Conrad Shenzhen, the flagship of Hong Rongyuan's Qianhai Financial Center, was designed by Goettsch Partners, the architectural firm that built the Park Hyatt Guangzhou and the Poly Crest Hotel in Sanya.

The interior design is by Yabu Pushelberg, the same golden team that designed the Park Hyatt in the same city. The first-floor welcome lobby's moody creation of suspended trees and flowing water isolates the hustle and bustle, slowing down the fast pace of the financial district.

While the 23rd floor isn't high enough for a traditional skyscraper hotel, the hotel still has a sky lobby, incorporating Yabu's signature long tables and couches into the space. An all-day restaurant is also located on this floor.

The hotel's 298 rooms*** feature original wood floors, Chinese screen grilles, linen-knit backdrops and tapestries, as well as ink-stained trapdoors in bedrooms and bathrooms, all of which are distinctly Yabu. The seemingly unintentional spill of a fleece blanket on the sleeper bed adds the finishing touch to the homey feel of the space.

On the west side of the building, the hotel also features a rooftop garden where barbecues and specialty cocktails can be enjoyed while taking in the view. Stay tuned for more details and inspiration from the Conrad brand.

5. Alila Suzhou Taihu:

Alila's fortunes in China have been mixed, and I'm looking forward to the upcoming opening of Alila Taihu, which embodies the concept of a hidden-luxury resort, as evidenced by its location on the secluded island of Xishan, a short drive across the Taihu Lake Bridge.

The lobby entrance is set at the highest point of the hotel, with the mountain and the lake in front of it. The entire hotel's architecture is inspired by the local culture of Suzhou, and combines natural materials such as tiles, masonry and rattan, showing the flavor of the Taihu Lake. The interior design, by CCD, is dominated by a translucent glass design that runs through almost every space, so that you can enjoy the beautiful scenery of Taihu Lake at any time.

The hotel has 98 rooms and villas***. Large bed directly facing the large floor-to-ceiling windows, even in bed lounging, you can also enjoy the lake and mountains, part of the room type of large terrace, a few cups of wine, very cozy.

6, Suzhou Chuk Fai Kimpton Hotel:

The hotel's interior design is by SCDA, a top Singaporean architectural firm that created the Addison Sanya and Park Hyatt Maldives. The lobby brings in natural light through a chic trapezoidal ceiling, while the interior space is simple and homely.

The courtyard, on the other hand, resembles a patio, where modern homes cannot hide the design team's control over the symmetry of traditional Chinese architecture and the essence of Soviet-style gardens, which are quiet, private and relaxing.

The guest room is simple and elegant, and also the place with the strongest classical flavor in all spaces. The use of Chinese elements in the home, screens, and bonsai are all appropriate. Some of the rooms also have private courtyards.

The Kimpton Hotel Suzhou Chuk Fai also has a number of distinctive restaurants and bars, and the pavilions outside the bars are particularly desirable.

Facilities such as a swimming pool and fitness center are also available.

7, Nanjing Naked Heart Ridge Resort:

Nanjing is also going to open the storm mode, following the Banyan Tree, Indigo. 9, W Macau:

Macau's first W hotel is expected to open in late 2022, located on Avenida de Cotai, in the reclaimed area of Cotai, Macau, in the second phase of the City of Dreams.

10, Chongli Banyan Tree & Chongli Yuechun Resort & Spa:
