The Chengdu Universiade can be purchased through the Chengdu Universiade official ticketing applet, official ticketing website (click to view), and offline official ticket service outlets (see Chengdu Universiade official ticketing website and ticketing applet).
The Chengdu Universiade implements a real-name system for purchasing tickets, and the real-name information corresponding to the number of tickets must be filled in when purchasing tickets. Members of the public can purchase tickets with their Chinese People's **** and national identity cards, Hong Kong and Macao residents traveling to and from the mainland, Taiwan residents traveling to and from the mainland, and valid passports of foreign nationals.
There is a limit of 5 tickets per account per event, of which: basketball final, volleyball final, swimming, diving, table tennis, badminton finals, each account is limited to 2 tickets per event; items with packages can be purchased with a single click for 2-person packages or 3-person packages.
The public who purchased e-tickets can enter with their own valid IDs for verification, without having to pick up the tickets; if you purchased paper tickets, you can get them by courier mail, or go to one of the 51 official ticket service outlets in Chengdu city, or the ticketing kiosks in each venue (which will be open for 3 days prior to the start of the event) to pick up the tickets on site.
Preparation for the event:
On December 13, 2018, FISU signed an agreement of intent on the right to host the 31st WSU Summer Games in Chengdu 2021 with Chengdu City, Sichuan Province, and the China University Sports Association***, marking the success of Chengdu City in obtaining the right to host the 31st World Summer Games in 2021.
On June 24, 2022, the FISU officially announced that the 2023 Chengdu World University Summer Games are scheduled to be held from July 28 to August 8, 2023. At the same time, age limits and eligibility were adjusted to allow participation by students eligible for 2021 and 2022 (extended).
In December 2018, the China Universiade Association (CUA), the city of Chengdu and the International Universiade Federation (IUF) signed an agreement of intent for the right to organize the 2021 World University Summer Games. Since then, Chengdu City has set up a preparatory committee for the Games, headed by the mayor, and launched a follow-up bid and preparatory work.
