Founded in 1873 and headquartered in Wisconsin, Kohler Co. is one of the oldest and largest family-owned companies in the United States. Kohler Co. is a global leader in kitchen and bath products, engines and power generation systems, furniture, home décor, the hospitality industry, and first-class golf clubs.

As early as the 1930s, Kohler products and China has a deep connection, when many famous buildings in Shanghai, such as Shanghai Jinjiang Hotel, Daguang Cinema, etc. are used Kohler sanitary ware. 1995 Kohler China Office was established in Hong Kong, Kohler has formally stationed in the Chinese market. 1999 Kohler will be the headquarters of the Chinese in Shanghai, and has been in Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Chengdu, Wuhan, Hefei, and so on, Guangzhou, Chengdu, Wuhan, Hefei, Hangzhou, Nanjing and Shenzhen. So far, Kohler has 10 factories in China with more than 500 regular showrooms and a dozen flagship stores.

In August 1995, Kohler set up an area of 60,000 square meters of Foshan wholly-owned plant, the annual production of more than one million Kohler ceramic pieces.

In 1998, Kohler established a wholly owned factory in Beijing to produce faucets.

In December 1998, Kohler also established a wholly-owned factory in Shanghai Pudong Xinghuo Development Zone, producing cast iron bathtubs, acrylic bathtubs, Jacuzzi series, as well as the newly developed cast iron kitchen sink series.

In 1999, Kohler has formally owned the full line of sanitary ware production capacity in China.

In 2002, Kohler (China) Investment Co., Ltd. was established in Shanghai as Kohler's Asia Pacific headquarters.

In 2003, Kohler Global Power Systems also settled in China and established a wholly-owned factory in Changzhou, mainly producing alternators and other products.

In 2005, the Nanchang leading factory was successfully completed, which is equipped with advanced production technologies and processes, and can be said to be a new milestone for Kohler in the Chinese market, which marks that Kohler's development in China has been accelerated, and its complete and comprehensive layout will greatly enhance its ability to provide comprehensive and rapid feedback and service to the Chinese market, especially the central and western markets.

In 2007, Kohler has established a factory in Changshu to produce cabinetry products, officially launching the cabinetry business in China; set up a factory in Chongqing to produce generators and engine equipment; and set up a Kohler electronics factory in Shanghai Jinqiao Development Zone.

On December 1, 2008, Kohler acquired Zhuhai Jiade Kitchen & Bath Products Co. The company is located in Xinqing Industrial Park, Doumen, Zhuhai, Guangdong Province, covering an area of more than 49,000 square meters, and mainly produces stainless steel sinks and related accessories;

On December 26, 2008, Kohler acquired Gafon Sanitary Ware (Zhongshan) Co. products. Each Kohler factory strictly follows Kohler's globally unified quality standards.

On March 7, 2009, Kohler set up the Kohler Water Purification Operation Center in Hefei, which is fully responsible for the brand development business of Kohler water purifier and other water purification products. The plant located in the city of science and technology - Hefei, has also been successfully put into production.

The Chinese market has become an important part of Kohler's global strategy. Nowadays, many high-class residences, Grade A office buildings and five-star hotels in China have used Kohler products, such as the main venue of Beijing 08 Olympic Games - Bird's Nest, Olympic Village, Water Cube, Diaoyutai State Guesthouse, Shanghai F1 International Circuit, Shanghai JW Marriott Ultra 5-Star Hotel, China's first tallest building Jinmao Tower, China Grand Hotel in Guangzhou and Sheraton Hotel in Guangzhou. The Kohler brand has become an important symbol of Chinese consumers' pursuit of a perfect home life.

From 1929, Kohler products were selected by the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, to the U.S. Industrial Design Gold Award, Kohler's products have won numerous awards ......, since 2002, Kohler is the historic four consecutive years of the Industrial Design Association of the United States (IDEA) issued by the Industrial Design Excellence Award, which included the familiar sōk Sukhumvit, which is the most prestigious and most prestigious brand in the world. These include the familiar sōk sōk overflow hydrotherapy whirlpool bathtub, the Laminar faucet and the Purist Hatbox tankless toilet, which won the 2007 Red dot award.
