Glass turns waste into treasure, and through the secondary processing and utilization of waste glass, it can better serve people. Usually, recycled glass is directly processed and converted into other useful materials.

There are two ways to use waste glass: heating and non-heating, one is heating and the other is non-heating.

1. unheated type.

Non-heating utilization is also called mechanical utilization. The specific method is to directly crush the recovered broken glass according to the use situation, or to carry out pretreatment such as cleaning, sorting and drying. And then grind them into small particles by mechanical means, or grind them into small glass balls for later use. Its utilization mode is as follows:

① Glass fragments are used as pavement components, building bricks, glass wool insulation materials and honeycomb structure materials;

(3) The crushed container glass can also be used to make reflective materials and clothing decorations;

⑤ It can be directly ground into various shapes, and then glued into decorations such as handicrafts or buttons.

The mixture of glass and plastic waste can be molded into synthetic slate products.

⑦ It can be used to produce sewage pipes.

2. Heating type

The heating utilization is to break the waste glass, melt it in a high-temperature melting furnace, and then make glass fiber by rapid drawing. This kind of glass fiber can be widely used to make asbestos tiles, glass jars and various building materials and daily necessities. The production of glass bottles is one of the most energy-consuming packaging products.
