In order to better customize Xiamen landmarks, Shimao cooperated with GENSLER, the architectural design team of China's tallest building and Shanghai Center, in the United States.

They designed two 250-meter-high tall buildings into beautiful "sails", which combined the visual elements of Xiamen flower "bougainvillea" and wanted to compete with the Twin Towers in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
