Xinjiang is a province with extremely rich natural landscape in the northwest of China, with a huge and complete ecological chain. The climate and environment in Xinjiang have changed obviously, giving tourists a dreamy and distorted illusion and a psychedelic feeling.
There are only the following expenses for going to road trip: food, accommodation, transportation, playing (tickets) and miscellaneous expenses. I will report them separately.
1. Food and Beverage
Actually, we should go on the road before driving out, but it is our habit in China to say that we eat first. We are two people (husband and wife) in Travel on the Road, not an RV or a sleeping car (we don't cook by ourselves). We all eat restaurants, eat local specialties and stay in hotels. It is neither a luxury tour nor a poverty tour, but a popular road trip.
Because we are past the age of knowing our destiny, we haven't eaten dinner for several years in order to be healthy. As for the reason why you can't be healthy without dinner, you can go online and search, so I won't go into details here. So we eat two meals a day, breakfast and lunch, dried fruit for dinner, and so on. Going out to road trip is the same way of life, but as we all know, driving to road trip at noon is the most common way, so we eat dry food in the car at noon.
so it takes 35 days from departure to return, and it costs 3314 yuan to eat, with an average of 94.4 yuan per day. There is a reason why this meal is not expensive. Xinjiang cuisine mainly includes hand-grabbed rice, mixed noodles, hand-grabbed mutton, mutton skewers, leg of lamb, mutton hot pot, steamed stuffed buns, naan cakes and so on. These foods are really delicious.
But as you can see, these delicacies are mainly meat, with a high content of fat and protein. It's okay to have a meal or two. I'm afraid I can't stand it for a few days You still have to restrain yourself. No wonder Xinjiang is full of super fat people over 41 years old, regardless of gender.
Therefore, we eat vegetarian food once in a while to keep a balance. The most expensive is 271 yuan, a beef hot pot in Tashkurgan County, and the cheapest is the meal of 21 yuan in Nalati Town for several days. Why do we only eat 21 yuan every day? This meeting is related to the itinerary and will be explained in the following "line".
The low cost of food in Xinjiang is also a big surprise for us. Before the trip, we learned that there are many delicious foods in Xinjiang, and the price of food is higher than that in the mainland. Unexpectedly, our expenditure in this respect is far lower than that in other parts of China. The average meal fee in other parts of China is 1.31 to 1.51 yuan per day, but it is lower than 1.11 yuan in Xinjiang, and the total cost is 3.314 yuan.
Up to now, I have traveled all over the country except Tibet and Taiwan Province provinces, leaving Sichuan to talk about food is totally ungrounded.
Here, I recommend some delicious food for everyone to taste: hand-grabbed mutton, mutton skewers and beef/mutton hotpot. Nan is a must. Buy a medium-sized naan, which tastes good. Don't buy too big, it's not very delicious. Have a casual meal.
With the accumulation of English learning, we have never slept in road trip. We have stayed in the car all day during the day and curled up in the car to sleep at night. I don't think this is a trip, but a flight. Our accommodation standards are mainly domestic mid-range chain hotels, such as * Feng, * An and other rooms are clean and tidy, beds and quilts are comfortable, and the price is appropriate.
In some places in China, we have stayed in hotels with historical feelings regardless of the price, such as the State Guesthouse in a certain place, the Pingping Hotel in a certain place, the Bird's Nest holiday paradise in a certain place, etc. The accommodation fee is 1,811 to 2,411 yuan per night, because I think that traveling includes experiencing historical and emotional attractions, buildings and hotels, which is the experience and significance of life.
In some places, we still live in homestays and inns. The total accommodation cost of this trip to Xinjiang is 6228 yuan, with an average of 183 yuan per day, including several days' accommodation in the farm house of Nalati Town, which is related to the "trip". Let's talk about it in the "itinerary". This time, a website actually compensated me for the accommodation fee of 198 yuan a day.
The reason is that there is no room in the hotel I booked, but the website accepted my room rate and paid the bill. Later, my room rate was refunded and I was compensated according to the set room rate. I am a diamond customer of a reputable website, and I have booked rooms and air tickets on this website for more than ten years.
therefore, it has advantages in price, date change, temporary check-out, room priority upgrade, etc. The most expensive night's stay in Xinjiang is 336 yuan, which is a hotel with ethnic characteristics and Uygur customs in Turpan. Because there are no hotels with special historical significance in Xinjiang, the accommodation cost is not high.
2. Accommodation Hotel
We started from Dujiangyan, Sichuan with two people and one car. The car is a German brand SUV, 2.1T, full-time four-wheel drive. It has been 11 years, and the mileage at the time of departure was 193,111 kilometers. I dare to drive such an old car so far to Xinjiang because all my cars are self-maintained. If there is any problem, I am very clear.
Except for the three northeastern provinces and Hainan Island, which used to be a taxi tour, it runs all other places. It's like walking to Tang Sanzang for nothing. My wife can't drive and doesn't have a driver's license. I drive around alone.
We set out on May 28th and returned to Dujiangyan on July 1th, which lasted for 35 days with a total mileage of 12,563 kilometers. We entered Xinjiang via Xingxingxia Valley in Hami, Gansu, arrived in Urumqi, and then went north to the world ghost town scenic spot in Karamay. Because the most beautiful season in Kanas Lake is autumn, it is totally meaningless to go in summer, so we didn't go north. After the ghost town, we went south to Kuitun, then west to Yili and crossed the Guozigou Bridge.
The beautiful scenery of Xinjiang is on the road, so you don't need to go into the scenic spot to see the grassland scenery. There are grasslands outside the scenic spot, and there are grasslands inside the scenic spot. We met several tourists who complained that a scenic spot had received a ticket from a person in 311 yuan, and the scenery they saw was not as good as that outside. Because I talked with netizens on the Internet before I left, I learned more about it after I went to Xinjiang, so I didn't go to the scenic spot where I charged high-priced tickets, saving a lot of ticket fees.
It is said on the Internet that the Dooku Highway was opened to traffic on June 3rd, and we arrived in Nalati Town on June 2nd. We originally planned to take the northern section of Duku Highway and then the southern section of Duku Highway to southern Xinjiang, but we got a new notice that the northern section (Dushanzi area) and the southern section (Kuche) of Duku Highway were opened to traffic at No.16, and then all of them were opened to traffic. All right.
just wait in nalati town. I will find a farmhouse in Nalati town to stay and negotiate with my boss. Because I have to stay for four days, the daily accommodation fee is 111 yuan. This farmhouse has a very good environment, a large yard, a lot of vegetables and flowers, a coffee table for drinking tea and enjoying the cool, a swing hammock and a parking lot in the huge yard. Of course, this is not a problem.
It's totally different to pick vegetables and cook in the vegetable field in the yard and eat fresh vegetables grown in the farmhouse every day. Of course, the accommodation conditions in the farmhouse are not as good as those in the hotel, and the basic facilities are available. This farmhouse is very clean, but we are afraid that there will be group members to live in. When there are too many people, we yell at each other, regardless of others. This is the quality of some people, as everyone knows.
I've been here for four days, and I didn't pay until 581 yuan left. Because we pick vegetables and cook, the boss only gives us 21 yuan at a time. This is the price of conscience. The boss is really nice. My brother is a tourist and has traveled all over Xinjiang.
I asked him if there was anything unclear. Looking back on my trip to Xinjiang, I found that this younger brother is the most suitable. He has a super good attitude, high quality and rich knowledge. He must visit their yard again when he goes to Xinjiang next time. What a surprise to live in this farmhouse this time!
it was notified on the 5th that No.16 could not be opened to traffic because a snow cave in the northern section of Dooku Highway collapsed. In desperation, I had to go around Korla in 217 national highway, and then to Kuqa, although I walked for four days in vain.
But Che and I got a rest, and we got to know the kind people in this farmhouse. This is really worth it! Some netizens who want to repair in Nalati town want to know about this farmhouse, but you can trust me privately, so I won't say it publicly here, lest everyone think I am the trustee.
it is divided into fuel fee and expressway fee. I traveled 12563 kilometers, and the fuel cost was 6522.22 yuan, 1.52 yuan per kilometer. My old car is real
The total toll expenditure in expressway is 2,744.34 yuan, with an average of 1.22 yuan per kilometer, including all highway miles of expressway, national highway, provincial highway, county road and township road. Why take county roads and township roads? I explained it in another article. If you want to know, you can search my other article. Expressway charges in Xinjiang are lower than those in the mainland, about 1.35 yuan per kilometer. In the same way.
3. Transportation fare
. Go to seven scenic spots in Xinjiang to buy tickets, such as Ghost Town, Sailimu Lake and Tianshan Grand Canyon, and spend 822 yuan. The low ticket consumption is due to the impassability of the northern section of Dooku Highway, which affects the trip. I didn't blindly follow the trend to see the grassland scenic spot at a high price, and I didn't go to Kanas Lake. Next time you go, you still have to walk. You always have to pay your debts, and you always have to spend money.
4. Play and entertainment
This part includes buying snacks, drinking water, souvenirs and so on. What needs to be explained here is that we didn't buy local fruits in Xinjiang, because the temperature difference between day and night in Xinjiang is very large, the sunshine time during the day is very long (more than ten hours), the climate is very dry, and the water content of fruits is too high. Eating such fruit is not good for your health, so you dare not buy fruit. You only buy cucumbers and tomatoes as fruit. In addition, I bought rings and earrings made by Hetian jade in Ruoqiang county as souvenirs, which cost 1168 yuan.
the total expenditure in five days is 21181.56 yuan, the per capita consumption is 11591.78 yuan, and the average daily expenditure is 615 yuan and 312 yuan. The consumption of this trip to Xinjiang is very rational, far lower than other places. In the past, we spent 4,111 yuan a day in Sanya and 2,611 yuan a day in Gulangyu during the Spring Festival. Now we are traveling more and more rationally.
