Tibetan dwellings are generally divided into four categories, one is made of stone, the other is made of earth, the third is hollow (wooden), and the fourth is tent. In Aba Prefecture, a place where Jiarong Tibetans are the majority, there are not many tent styles, and our side is basically made of stone.
Tibetan style has a very unique and beautiful architectural form and style, which is integrated with the magnificent natural scenery of the plateau, with simple and rugged modeling, simple and natural color and strong national characteristics. Symbols with religious belief and totem worship make the building contain more religious culture and life content.
After coming out of Taoping Qiang Village in Wenchuan, you can see Tibetan-style buildings. At first glance, it may seem like an abandoned village, but only the first one at the foot of the mountain seems to be inhabited. Here is a flat roof, but the four corners of the roof are high and pointed. The style is somewhat similar to that of Danba's Tibetan village, but the color is not as beautiful as Danba's. The buildings and windows are decorated with white edges. Continue westward, and soon you will encounter a relatively large Tibetan stockade community, which is a Tibetan stockade in Ganbao Township, Lixian County, and also a relatively well-preserved Tibetan stockade here. It is only 8 kilometers away from Lixian County, and it is built by the mountains and rivers, so it is named Ganbao, which means "village on the slope" in Tibetan. The Ganbao Tibetan Village was destroyed by the 5.12 earthquake and rebuilt in 2119. Made of local materials and granite in the river, the stone house is generally two or three stories, with a wide bottom and a narrow top; The first floor raises livestock and piles sundries; The second floor is the living room, kitchen, bedroom and guest room; The flat three-story roof can be used as a field for cooling and threshing grain.
The stockade in the early morning is very quiet and there is no one. The stockade with a single house is like a beautiful villa. At first light, with the sound of gurgling water and the Tibetan village where the smoke is curling, everything is very comfortable. Clouds are misty on the high mountains, and independent houses are faintly visible. If people can't choose their birthplace, they can still choose to build their own residence. As Liu Yuxi said, "The mountain is not high, but the fairy is famous. The water is not deep, and the dragon is the spirit. I am a humble room, but I am virtuous. The moss marks are green on the upper steps, and the grass color is green in the curtains ... "
The architectural style of miyaluo is completely different from that of the Ganbao Tibetan Village near Lixian County, but a large-scale octagonal bunker Tibetan Village, which is located in the east of miyaluo Town, 59 kilometers away from Lixian County, with an average elevation of 2,861 meters. It replaces the flat roof with a sloping roof, a two-story or three-story building. The design of the sloping roof is because of the rainy season and heavy snowfall in miyaluo all the year round, with natural stones as the main color tone, red windows with white strokes, eaves with red and white vertical bars, and the main body of the building with white strokes. The upper part of the form is layered with regular patterns, which are green, red, blue and white as the background color ... The joints of the building are all painted in white, and the materials are still dominated by stones. Looking closely at Tibetan dwellings, the stone-built walls are solid and simple, and the yellow windows and white strokes form a regular and beautiful geometry. The watchtower on the roadside hill shows all traces of years' erosion. Even though it is incomplete, I think the building is alive, and those traces are proof.
After miyaluo Town came out, the roadside was a Tibetan building different from miyaluo Town. The stone walls kept their original colors, the red sloping roof, all four walls were painted with white edges, and the windows were also marked with white edges, with white painted totems. The three totems on the main wall are: a diamond on the left, a lucky knot in the middle and a white conch pattern. We believe that these patterns can summon the Buddha's light and aura, exorcise ghosts and evil spirits, and protect us from disasters.
What I'm talking about here is not as beautiful as a visit by yourself. I believe Tibetan residential houses will definitely give you a simple, simple and beautiful sense. I believe that on your way to Abali County, Tibetan houses will always appear in your sight inadvertently, or on the top of the mountain at the next corner, or on the side of the highway or on the other side of the river or on the high mountain where there is no road at all. They are either one or two, or three or five, or built one by one according to the mountain situation, forming a large-scale village. In short, the Tibetan villages here will leave a deep impression and good memories for your Aba trip.
