In recent years, gas safety has been emphasized year after year, but why are accidents frequent?
First of all, we need to know about gas, so that we can have a clear concept. Gas is the general name of combustible gas fuel, which can burn and release heat, and is widely used in residential users and industrial and commercial users, including natural gas, liquefied gas, artificial gas and biogas. Generally, natural gas we commonly call refers to natural gas used for cooking at home.
So, under what circumstances will natural gas explode?
Generally speaking, natural gas will not explode, but will burn when it meets an open flame. However, when the content of natural gas in the air reaches a certain concentration, it will explode in case of fire. Usually, the volume mixing ratio with air is between 1.5~9.5%. In fact, this ratio is relatively easy to achieve, and it needs enough attention and vigilance, because the danger is around! No kidding!
So, under what circumstances will natural gas leak?
First, there is something wrong with the hose. Rubber hose is a pipe connecting natural gas pipeline and gas stove. This kind of pipe will age, crack or loosen when exposed to high temperature for a long time, and it is easy to be bitten by pets or mice at home. These are all unstable factors.
Second, the ignition failed, the gas did not burn, and it leaked directly.
Third, when cooking porridge or boiling water, you may forget to turn off the fire, and the water overflows to douse the gas and leak.
Fourth, forget to turn off the fire, or turn off the fire loosely, leading to leakage.
Fifth, the gas stove is damaged and leaks.
Six, natural gas indoor steel pipe hanging heavy objects, external force caused by steel pipe joints loose leakage.
Seventh, pipeline corrosion or gas meter, valve and interface damage.
Eighth, in the process of gas use, the valve was not closed in time, and the gas company leaked when it resumed gas supply.
After understanding the leakage, we can look for preventive measures:
First of all, always check whether the hose is squeezed, broken and falls off.
Two, change the hose every six months or once a year, conditional use of stainless steel bellows.
Third, use the gas stove correctly to ensure that people are on the scene and prevent the flame from being extinguished by water.
Fourth, close the valve in front of the furnace in time after using gas.
Fifth, protect indoor gas pipelines and don't pile up heavy objects.
Sixth, actively cooperate with gas company security personnel to conduct on-site security inspection.
