Legal analysis: When the total weight of liquefied petroleum gas cylinders stored in restaurants exceeds 111kg (equivalent to two 51kg or seven 15kg cylinders), a special gas cylinder room should be set up. When the total weight of stored bottles is less than 421kg, the gas cylinder room can be set in a single-story special room adjacent to gas-using buildings (except residential buildings, important public buildings and high-rise civil buildings and podium buildings), and the special room shall comply with the provisions of Code for Design of LPG Supply Engineering (GB51142). When the total weight of stored bottles is more than 421kg, or if the bottles are forced to gasify, the gas cylinder room shall be set in an independent single-storey building with a distance of not less than 11m from other civil buildings. It is forbidden to have open flames and pile up inflammable and explosive articles in the room where gas cylinders are stored.
